I bought new E75 and inserted sim from my old phone. now there is a flashing envelope on top right corner which dosen't goes away. can somebody advice how to remove it.

i bought my nokia E75 abt 5 days back.. it was workin fine til today.. when i switched on d phone it jus hung.. tried it abt 4-5 times nd the same thing happened.. any suggestion on wot to do????

buhtt ii ended up getting the nokia
6210 navigator its a pretty good
fonee buhtt now im over it
coz theres new foness coming out every week :@

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-08-06 04:03 from j@w1 - click to readwell it depends what you want your phone for. obviously if you're wanting it for music ability etc, then the 5330 or even 5730 is the better option. if you're wanting business use or emails etc, then the e75. though through my experience of e75 so far, i would choose the n97 if i could change it.

there is no such phone as a nokia N100. it simply doesn't exist except in somebodies wishlist. neither is 1 in development or production by nokia.

and if you've ever used one, then it ain't an Nokia. more likely a fake modded phone.

i've had an E75 for a few weeks now. personally i'm disappointed, it seems slow to start with when scouting txt messages.

as for problems, well 1stly, i use Email a lot, and the phone has 681 emails on it. unfortunately, there's now not enough memory for much (phone memory), which means 10 txt messages and i get a notice on screen saying memory full, close some applications. even though there are no applications open except txt which i'm trying to actually reply to.. lol

delete the emails i hear you say? well yes, i did think of that, but unfortunately, selecting mark all, and then selecting delete. the prompt 'delete 681 emails' appears.. i click 'yes' the phone says deleting, so i wait, and wait, and wait, and wait some more, i go have dinner, have a bath, goto bed, wake up in the morning, and it still says deleting. well i need to use the phone now, but guess what, not a single email has been deleted in 9.5 hrs. try deleting the whole mailbox profile from the phone.. guess what, can't even do that. a couple days earlier, the memory card got corrupted even tho it had not been removed or changed etc. so lost all the music i had on it.

then to top it off today, low battery, so was working in a data center, obviously can't get a signal in there, so switched the phone off to save battery. lunchtime came, went outside, switched phone on, entered unlock code.. bang, no applications loaded, the screen keeps refreshing itself constantly, and because of that it also won't let me use any buttons. in short, the phone is now useless.

gone back to my N95 which is far superior to the e75 and lol unlike many others, i had absolutely no problems with the N95 at all. the only thing it hasn't got is a qwerty keyboard, which is why i chose the E75 when my contract was upgraded. shame really, cos a week later Nokia released the N97 with qwerty keyboard, touchscreen and 32gb memory built in. damn it.

in short, i'd avoid the E75 and go for the N97 instead. i can't cancel mine now (wish i could), so in all fairness, i think i'll sell the e75 & N95 and put towards and buy an N97. btw even phone recycling places will give you about 50 - 60 for the E75, yet the N95 still gets you around £100 back (places like mazumomobile etc.

I wanna buy a new phone I still have to decide which one to buy between E75 or E52 ? Any suggestions ?

Hi everyone just want to know can I connect E75 to Laptob and use its GPS on the monitor as external GPS for the computer.

The keyboard on E75 is bigger - so if u have problem with the shorter keyboard , go for E75. At the same time for the application i beleive both the phones are pretty much the same except for the fact the E75 have better video quality ( and a nice flash light which works pretty well in the dark which is not avaliable in E71).
