I have read your problem. What happens is that when you have two names under the same number then the phone doesnt pops up with the callers name.

i have been facing this problem for last one year that sometime name of caller doesnt pop up and only number shows up. Somebody told me that it happens when you have two similar names which was actually the solution. However there is still 2 names which doesnt pop up even though there is no similar names against these 2 names.

1. There is no Sound cutting in video recording for me.
2. Fax software available for free on Download!.
3. Using carrying case help in protecting the Case..its for 15$ in Nokia store.

nokia e90 is a fantastic phn
i m usng dis phn 4rm last 1 year
i faced a very common prob in dis phn ,, wch is also dere in my 2 of others frnz e90
well chk it out in your cells dat WHILE RECORDING A VEDIO IN NOKIA E90, WEN U ZOOM IN ND ZOOM OUT IN RECRDNG..... ND SAVES D VDEO IN GALLARY.... LATER WEN U SEE DIS VDO , MAKE SURE DAT VOLUME OF UR VDO IS DERE TILL END.....??
dere is a voice cut in last few secnds of vdo
please check it out, is dere same prob in ur phn??????????

Reading thru about the backlight faulty, I find that it could be truly a software bug. When the button is pressed, the whole screen flickers and jumped from one menu to another and it also auto dial stange numbers and charaters. Beep sound is heard continuously. Anyone out there could assist to resolve this malfunction? Please advice. Thanks.

I had bought my E90 from Dubai about six months back, now the paint is going out.Is there any way i can repair it or does the company provide any assistance.

1.People this Communicator isnt for anyone so think twice before sending comments filled with criticism for size and weight...Nokia dont need to learn from anyone for making slim phones..we already have S40 phones and who wanna slim phone then buy S40 phone not an E90.
2.The E90 now has flat keyboard and it DONT touch the inner screen.
3.Battery dont last for more than 2 days...yes..what u want more than that??
4. Nokia 9500 has the S80 UI which has more advanced software but the S60 used on E90 allow more 3rd party software compatibility.
5.Next Communicator will run on S60 FP3 which is not launched till now as rumors said...btw the FP3 should have USB and touch screen.
