> In reply to rabbi.ssmc @ 2014-08-25 10:35 from 2W5B - click to readDi fone is nice but since I upgraded to 8.1 its not been responding well. My 1020 hangs n its so annoying. It takes me abut 5mins jus to save a new contact. I don't know if to say I regret upgrading or I regret spending such money to get dis kind of service. Windows os is jus behind in terms of games n apps. Pls dey need to improve fast. If not for my love ❤ for nokia, I would have stopped using all dis Lumia. PLS NOKIA LUMIA WINDOWS, U GUYS ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE SMART PHONE 📱.

Using this device for a year now and it's doing great. Even with WP8.1 it runs very well. Also the camera still amazes me. No need for a digicam at all when you have this beast.

> In reply to thinMan @ 2014-08-29 07:39 from 3YdK - click to readForgot to mention, after the calibration, do not leave the device (when is full charged) plugged to the ac power for long time, there is no more needed and as a result the battery is getting "tired". In addition probably, as me and other people I saw in forums, after a couple of months the battery performance is getting much better.
However in theory as our friends posted below the calibration for this type of batteries wouldn't be needed but I always noticed that is necessary at least for 1-2 times.

> In reply to thinMan @ 2014-08-29 07:39 from 3YdK - click to readYes,it's recommended when you buy the device to drain the battery until 15%-20% (not completely )and then charging for 4-6 hours, for a couple of times, but not more.

> In reply to thinMan @ 2014-08-29 07:39 from 3YdK - click to readSome say it is better, others say not, and there are also people saying that was only something to do for the old type of batteries. What is true I don't know but I still always do it.

is it really necessary to drain the battery of any mobile phone for the first time of use then recharge it for 4 hours to make the battery efficient and last longer?

(i just want to make the battery capacity reach its full capacity)

thanks in advance =)

> In reply to yayies @ 2014-08-25 21:23 from SmCY - click to readMight be a faulty, but after two months of use already it's really bad luck. You can try the soft reset as said in the other comment and if it doesn't help, I'm afraid you need to contact Nokia Care.
