> In reply to Anna @ 2014-03-08 11:48 from mPFI - click to readThe Nokia Lumia Icon is a smaller version of the 1520 with a 5.0 inch screen and a smaller battery compared with the 1520. One downside with the Icon compared with the 1520 is that the Icon, according to GSMARENA has no card slot, just 32gb internal storage.

After using the galaxy note 3 for about a month I got rid of it.great features, good interface, never got to use the pen but oh so hopeless battery life after being used to the excellent battery life of the Asus padfone 2 before it. Dissapointing camera too. So I bought the nokia lumia 1520 for its battery that seems to go on and on for 2 full days without recharging on regular usage such as making and answering calls, messaging, taking a few photos a day ,light surfing and full 2 hour movie and internet radio at night before bedtime. the camera takes better pictures even under low light and if you are an enthusiast you can play around with manual controls and come with pictures close to a compact point and shoot camera. the user interface needs some getting used to, though. but once you get the hang of it,its a joy.Gap on apps against android is getting closer nowand for an average user like me, they suffice. All the essentials are there and then some like mix radio, beamer etc.I will see whether I'll keep it or get rid of it like the note 3 over the next couple of months

I have the Lumia 1520 and it is a monster for performance. Since changing to Windows Phone I have found my battery life is a lot better and the interface now that I have had a chance to play with it is very well designed and quick to navigate.

I am not saying that you should buy one because that is up to you... but if you are looking for assurance I can give you that.

It is lightning quick at loading games, Office and OneNote work brilliantly, Movies on the Full HD screen are very clear, Web browsing is great, the GPS works like a treat, downloading is SOOO FAST, and the front and rear camera are great as well.

Think of it like this, if you use your phone 85% calls and 15% fun then get a small compact phone. On the other hand if you spend 85% fun and 15% calls... think of this device as the ultimate experience.

I'm happy, I am sure you will be too.

On Mars you don't get the latest updates regarding resale value and product availability. I can understand that and feel pity on you. I hope you get updates soon enough. Enjoy living on Earth now.

Basic availability is short, due to lack of demand. you cant pratically use it as mobile fr talk, only internet. Price is 700$ + within 3 months it will be selling at peanuts. most of user will repent at resale price and size. We can easily get a chinese made same size fr 100$ maybe specs be compromised. But spent thrift buyers are crazy to own fr status ad show off. Ending Nokia is gone, finito only name nothing else except MS owner made n china ad encashing Trade Name.
