Communion, 07 Mar 2013What do you think? WP is not android so, yes. 512 MB is more than enough. He wasnt referring to the smoothness, its some of the new games that need 1 gb ram.
I dont think it will be an issue, not until the 3rd gen lumias roll out cos, 512mb ram devices are the bulk of wp8 devices in market now and if they cant support it they are missing more than half of their customers.
Gameloft already confirmed all their releases would be optimised for 1 gb and 512 mb seperately so ur not missing out on anything just give them a bit time.

subh, 06 Mar 2013hello frnd today i did call to nokia.timesindia on 09024333333 for launching and price of l62... moreDear this is what Nokia is saying from last 3 months. They have fooled you. Drop your plan for buying this phone or you'll be fooled again after paying 15k. There are much better phones available in market
cellmaniac, 06 Mar 2013Great! So let us know about it ASAP. Bad news, no it doesn't convert. Ttried a mkv file. Below are the following tests I ran. If there are more let me know
1) Using Windows Phone 8 App for Desktop: - Doesn't show the the file and doesn't sync
2) Directly copy pasting: - Over here it asked if I want to convert it or copy it without converting. When I choose to convert it, the file did got converted, but it go converted to a wma format rather than wmv, so no video only audio. There is no setting to even change that. At least not on the desktop app. Will have to check on the phone, couldn't check it cause I was running these test remotely.
3) Window Media Player: - It even failed to detect to connected device
So right now the only option is to convert videos using external video converter and then copy paste.
Well some more news for Nokia and WP.
that Glam Me lens is finally available: - http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia...t-app-lumias
And Nokia still hasn't given up on WP7 devices as it releases the Cinemagraph App(Not a lens, but an app) to WP 7.x customers: - http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia...ne-7x-lumias

Gameloft released two high quality Xbox games for WP8, Amazing Spider-... moreAny media file thrown at WP7.x works, irrespective of format and resolution at Zune client converts it to compatible format if necessary. But I am not sure if Windows Phone 8 sync client does the same or not.
