Nokia Philippines is really blindfolded when it comes to marketing. See, there's the Lumia range. But they still keep on posting Asha, Asha, and Asha. 620, 820, and 920 are all not yet available in the Philippines. How are you going to get a comeback if you're not confident with your smartphones? Release 620 and I'm sure my friends would envy me.

Sean , 27 Jan 2013No doubt in near future Mugen power will release a larger battery for this phone Actually they have a bigger battery for the BL-5J, which is used in this phone, but they have the casing for Nokia N900, a whopping 2400 mah battery. So basically they just need to make the cases.

the battery is the issue here although it got better after 4-5 times full charging... at first it wont last a half a day up until now... Wifi connection eats a lot of the battery power so please turn it off after every use... great phone for the price..

ugliest touchscreen device ive seen like what the hell green n yellow yak
Guys never mind the battery, coz all of the touch screen mobile are have same issue. battery not last a day. it's normal to all touch screen mobiles, most important is this mobile are good at all things.
Hi all I own the 620 and I can confirm that with 3g data turned on its battery will not last very long even in standby. BUT, its battery life can be prolonged substantially if you turn on the 'battery saving' mode.
The drawback of this mode is apps like whatsapp will not receive the message from the net automatically. It will only do so when you start the app. I'm happy with my purchase so far.
Nokia has launched the low-end Lumia 620 smartphone in the country. The device will be available in early February with pricing details currently unknown. The smartphone will be available in vibrant colour options of black, cyan, magenta, yellow and white.
The budget Windows Phone 8 offering from Nokia was announced last December with an unsubsidised pricing of $249. The Lumia 620 sports a 3.8-inch TFT WVGA display (800X480) with ClearBlack technology. It features a 5-megapixel rear autofocus shooter capable of 720p video recording and has a VGA front camera on-board as well.
On the inside, the device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB RAM and has 8GB internal storage with microSD support upto 64GB. Windows Phone users can also make use of the additional 7GB SkyDrive storage.
The smartphone boasts connectivity options like NFC, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi. It comes with a 1,300mAh battery claiming up to 15 hours of talk time (2G) and many hours of music playback.
As any other Windows Phone 8 device, the Nokia Lumia 620 will feature a Live Tile interface for updates to the Start Screen, PeopleHub and a Me Tile along with other Windows Phone 8 functions.
Nokia is betting big on the Lumia 620's 'dual-shot' technique, which helps in creating new colours and textures for this smartphone. So what this 'dual shot' actually does is cast two layers of polycarbonate, a single base layer and a second colour, in a transparent/ translucent layer, to produce depth effects and secondary colour blends. For example, yellow and cyan are combined to produce a lime green colour.
Other features include Cinemagraph, the exclusive Lumia camera feature that adds motion to still images; City Lens that reveals nearby places when you hold it up to scan your environment and SmartShoot that takes a series of pictures in one click allowing you to choose the best portions of each picture to create the perfect photo.
Apart from launching the Lumia 620, the company has also launched the highly awaited Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones. The Lumia 920 is priced at Rs. 38,199 while the Lumia 820 costs Rs. 27,559. Both smartphones will be available in multiple colours starting January 11, 2013.
can someone tell me how long the battery can get through in a single charge, when used for web browsing exccesively
this mobile is really good.i want buy this mobile.nokia lumia rock
multicores are better at battery saving than single cores. But still i think battery is a issue in this device. Doesnt matter to me though, i already have a external supply. Lets wait for a review, they say battery gets better after 5-6 cycles.
Sacl, 27 Jan 2013if any one ready to give the mobile for one week i am ready to use it and i will give feedback... morewhy one should give you his mobile to use for a week? talk sensibly man
YES, i have this phone right now and its really cool...i love it so much..
I just came across the review of this phone in dialaphone.co.uk & they have clearly mentioned that the battery is the major issue with this phone. It won't even last a day. Waiting for the pricing of the phone though...if it under 13k will buy for sure.
