tech lvr, 01 Nov 2014What is SensorCore?SensorCore is the name for a technology developed by Nokia (nowMicrosoft) in conjunction with Qualcomm for the modern line of Lumia Windows Phones. The SensorCore technology is both hardware and software based, with custom APIs.Microsoft announced SensorCore on April 4 duringBuild 2014as part of theLumia CyanandWindows Phone 8.1update. SensorCore grew out of and replacedMotion Monitor, a beta app released by Nokia in December 2013.The goal of SensorCore was to enable smartphones to collect information from its sensors without affecting battery life. Everything from steps (pedometer), motion, GPS data, and time is recorded to the phone. As a result, users do not need to wear a bracelet or wearable to keep track of their health and activity levels.Apps, including third party ones, can access this information through the SensorCore SDK. These apps could, in theory, count steps, activity intensity, and calculate amount of burnt calories. Alternatively, developers can make an app that visualizes your movement spanning back ten days (the limit of data collected and stored by SensorCore on the phone).SensorCore is controlled via the Motion Data section under the phone's Settings. There, users can enable or disable the collection of data with a simple toggle switch. Users can also delete all the previously collected data with a touch of a button.

herrysafary, 01 Nov 2014cheap 1Gb RAM phones come to public,
other go to 2Gb with GPU, Nokia too late accelerations,I recommend you to compare the same amount of ram (512 MB windows phone vs. 512 MB android or 1GB), you'll see why it is more than enough for windows (and iOS) to have only 1GB ram compared to android that have to have 2 GB ram to run smoothly.
Imagine my friend's LG G3 ram consumption while standby, all app closed, is 1.4 GB, leaving empty space of 600 MB out of 2 GB. Yeah I'm not going to buy android. Thx. And by the way you said 2 GB with cheap price I assumed it's chinese or whatever. Worst ram management. My brother's lenovo, well only 1 GB of ram though, got updated to kitkat and without opening any app it is lagging with just swiping pictures in gallery. Too much trauma in seeing and handling android especially chinese ones. Don't care too much about huge number of apps. Not going to use every all of them after all.
cheap 1Gb RAM phones come to public,
other go to 2Gb with GPU, Nokia too late accelerations,
why they increase the price of this phone? last week it was 200 euro and now became 310 euro. why??????????
