andy, 05 Dec 2011A remarkable handset from Nokia shipped with the greatest OS out there.
most of you haters ha... moreI am with Android and i don feel that i have made any mistake. In fact i feel symbian is better in some aspect compare to android. Less resource intensive, a 600Mhz cpu runs well on symbian and the average battery life is 3 full days.
This could never be achieved by windoze, android or iOS.
screen size jus too small should be atleast 4.2 inch...No secondary camera!!! biggest draeback
neelesh, 05 Dec 2011Yes this phone will view edit and create msoffice files. in your dream...........
Neelesh, 05 Dec 2011yes youtube videos are very well played on lumia 800. you means after transcoding video via Zune.....you-tube video able to plays ! eh ! still in doubt######
Ustinov ....do or die policy of Mr Stephen Elop,
A brave decision and a foolish mindset for only $ 1 billion bribe,
the whole Nokia company balance on Lumia 800 shoulder.
This is Russia.
MeeGo OS is far better than WP7.
Microsoft should acquire & develop "MeeGo" for Nokia mobiles.
Do u agree with this idea?
Sandeep kumar, 05 Dec 2011Nokia Lumia 800 means a complete nano world in a hand.ya rite!
A complete Tata Nano in comparison to BMW.
Nokia Lumia800 is a nice looking fone but doubtful about it's efficiency due to lacking many basic specifications.
Microsoft have already declared that by Q4 2012 Samsung ,Lenova and Toshiba will be the main leading window 8 ARMs ...slate/mobile manufacturers.
Samsung, Lenova and Toshiba will be the leading window 8 ARMs ....mobile manufacturers by Q4 2012.
Anonymous, 03 Dec 2011galaxy note is better!Galaxy Note is targeted at a completely different market! In fact, the very opposite. Nokia 800 is pretty much aimed at the same market as those who would like an iPhone or Blackberry Curve, IE, style conscious social animal, while the Note is for mobile productivity and creative workers.
hats off to os ......but this phone sucks dude ...i sugest to go for android...android is the future of mobile..
OS is good , but battery specification is 1500 mah , doubt abt backup .
th3d, 05 Dec 2011Wat... I started reading the lumia 800 review, on d first page it says No flash or silverlight... moreWell, if you can't live without flash ads in your browser I can't blame you. I prefer battery life and video performance.
Nokia is going down. This the most idiotic thing to do from Nokia to put Windows on they`re phones.Samsung and HTC is eating everything up on the smartphones market.Samsung is the best smartphones on the market now and i think that apple will lose the battle the next year because they`re iphone`s are just too limited in posibility. They are to limited,we almost can`t do anything on an iphone that WE want, not programed before from apple to simplify things in the device.I hope that Android will not take that way because they are on the right track now.So...Go Android and Go Samsung!
Can anyone tell me how is the battery life compared to Samsung Galaxy S 2 and Apple 4S. Also any idea of its SAR value????
Anonymous, 05 Dec 2011Why this phone is better than iPhone 4?it has windows messenger build in and not from external app, it integrates all chat in one (facebbok, twitter, messenger and sms text), has live tiles instead of small pictures, is has xbox integrated, it has microsoft office, and it is not so expensive.
Nokia, 05 Dec 2011 U R absolutely right. Nokia should ditch Winmo right now and continue with New Simbian and Ma... moreUnfortunatly the world was not ready for N900 when it was launched, and the nokia fans was hugging symbian still. Android was not competitive at the time but the average nokia fans refused to give N900 a chance, thus the snowball effect never happened, which is why maemo was killed by Nokia.
Looking at it from a linux geek point of view I find the debian based maemo to be more versatile than meego, for example when I heard meego woulduse rpm instead of deb binaries I was very disappointed, that was sad news. Rpm is great compared to non-linux solutions but it doesnt have the solid genious mechanism of aptitude/deb
