> In reply to joe @ 2011-10-28 03:02 from qNbm - click to readI have already said this, The N9 was a better Iphone than Apple Iphone. To release this with LESS features than the N9, ie no FF camera is a joke!
I worked with a person who had the Nokia 6630 which was capable of video call but NO ff camera (which the 6680 later did) it had some sort of periscope attachment.
I do know that the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is capable of video call but NO ff camera.
These calls are made the caller can see you but you CAN'T see the caller with the Vivaz & 6630

I wish they'd come up with a Dual sim option too ! Carrying around 2 phones is such a pain ..and literally everyone is doing that now .. especially Corporate Executives.

> In reply to Daguy @ 2011-10-27 22:16 from q{05 - click to readNokia's CEO is somewhat, how do I put it, less intelligent. He was dumb for not taking Android and putting it on a Nokia. He said they want something different, so they went for Microsoft OS, but HTC and Samsung have phones on Adndroid and on Microsofts OS. Nobody said you have to choose one between the two. I like their Lumnia series but it still falls short when compared with the likes of HTC Sensation, Galaxy s2 etc. It would be awesome to have it as a second phone though. 3.7" display, would have been awesome if it was a 4.2" or more.

> In reply to seb @ 2011-10-27 19:27 from mpUW - click to readNice discussion. I must say a line of the day, poorly designed software. I am impressed with iphone 4s benchmarks with underclocked processor. That is knonwn as good hardware software optimization. I am using n900. except for resistive touch screen [though very good in context of resistive term] everything is awesome. Because every body can't afford ferrari, but 90 percent of people buy car and phone for price and specific needs. Real world performance, if not drastically different, people can go on with mobile of half price but 80 %of best specification.

All Nokia had to do was have a 4in screen with N8 hardware running wp7 and that would have been a seller . This phone does not have what we expect in 2011, no secondary camera, no tv out,no memory card , no removable battery,no usb on the go, no fm transmitter, and I waited , but I'll get N8 now.

> In reply to Raj @ 2011-10-27 21:45 from 3CYW - click to readI do not think either Nokia phones will really support Skype as far as video calling features. The problem is that neither device supports a front facing camera. In order to have video calling and use things like a Face-Time type of app, you need a FF camera but because they do not have it in these two releases video calling is not possible unless it utilizes a rear-facing camera. If that is the cane then it does not make any sense.
