Why auto focus Nokia? Please get back to that fixed focus with which you killed many a nice phone on Symbian. Idiots.

Funny how this phone has worse specs than the N9...
Also is this the best nokia could come up with?
It is really obvious how Nokia is now run by old school profit minded micro$oft businessmen...
Have Apple and HTC tought you nothing??
EPIC FAIL!

One word. Laughable ! This phone is a joke. Hey it's October 2011 now and dual core is a minimum standard on new phones. Only 720p recording ? The Galaxy S2 is Yes, 1080p@30fps I mean really look at this phone. Are they inventing for the past ? for nostalgia ? or the future ? Do they really think they are going to compete with this phone ? in a rapidly changing market.
Not to mention the simple fact that they need to sack their industrial designers. Nobody wants a phone with sharp edges. The phone shape and look has settled across industry and it aint sharp edges. The two leading brands Apple and Samsung have demonstrated this. It just amazes me how square the management team must be to keep putting out these crap phones. They are driving the company into the ground.
As for their partnership with Microsoft, well that aint going to do didly squat if they don't replace their entire management and design teams. There in lies their problem. They need to stop trying to compete no the shape, look and feel of the phone, because that's been sorted by the market already, so they should just follow suit. They need to compete on functionality and features and they aint doing a very good job at that either. It's sad to see a great brand going down and to have a 900 pound counterweight gorilla chained to it, whilst it's in free fall. Just a shame. Unfortunately things are likely to get worse for them before they improve.
Do you seriously think Windows can get it right on a phone ? Your kidding right ? Such a shame. The whole design of their technology reflects the 900 pound gorilla mentality, in fact I would go further to say that their application of technology to the rapidly evolving phone market is akin to a beached whale. It's a non starter I'm afraid. With Samsung due to release the Galaxy S3 in 2012 and Apple the iPhone 5, with rumours of quad core, there simply can be no contest for the likes of Nokia and Microsoft to enter into. That's the reality they face with their current development strategy, plain and simple.

Nonsd card? Nokia abandoned symbian just for this? Wp7 , not impressive! Samsung & sony ercsson is just mid range phone for them forbthe spec of lumia 800 ,steven elop should resign . Or they should improved the symbian more. Nokia bad bad move, waiting for this? Im very dissapointing. Where is the x factor! , nokia still no impact. Expect low sale. What is this lumia ? Do you think this is best? If i were ceo of nokia, iphone and samsung will be no more.

I've been wondering, why they always make a good-but-not-good-enough phone. Halfhearted ! Look at its specs : only 3,7 inches while others 4,3 inches, NO CARD SLOT, single core processor, no secondary camera, micro sim-card, no hdmi-port even tv-out... What are they thinking... ? They said it would be their flagship. Oya ???

Honestly Nokia can't expect this phone to get them anywhere unless it's under $300. It's plainly low on features.
We continue to see the plain reason for Samsung, and HTC dominance.

I thought Nokia want to complete..I don't know if they going to make it. No front facing camera, and no card slot. Well, say good by to Nokia..why would they stop something which made them the best? That CEO want Nokia to fail, maybe that is why Microsoft fired him..then he went back running to Microsoft..let's say..power to Windows

Samsung fanboys, the secret is out, we know you bad mouth your strongest rivals like Nokia 800, Motorola Razr, iPhone, and downvote too. Not working anymore, as you have stopped innovating, and others are moving ahead. Watch as Nokia 800 posts good sales, as Razr will as well. iPhone already doing well since latest launch.
