Hi! 2G/EDGE is switched all the time. When Wi-Fi is available I am swiching on also the Wi-Fi connectivity.During the first days after buying it I was using the phone in 3G mode and I had to charge my battery every day. Then I just went on using it only in 2G mode and the battery started to last 2,5 days. And again - with the fast IE10, browsing is not too slow.I am extremely happy with my phone and warm recommend it!

Hi!
I am using my Lumia 820 already a month only in 2G mode. And because of the superfast IE10 there is nothing to complain. My battery lasts 2,5 days, speaking about 1-1,5 hours a day, taking pictures and playing videos. With 2 words: BUY IT!

I plan to buy 820, only issue I am concerned with is the battery backup. With 2G Mobile internet switched on continuously during the daytime, and moderate to low usage of whatsapp, messages, calls and emails how many 'hours' will the battery approximately last?

Thank you
