> In reply to IchimaruGin @ 2013-01-06 14:36 from vG14 - click to readMaruti/Suzuki are not the best, but they are not the worst too, I believe. Because, unpopular cars are either very expensive or very bad ones.

Every tech site I ever read (except official WP fans) regarded WP7 OS as unfinished and limited. Oh, and many people from India on Nokia forums agreed with that verdict.

> In reply to Marc @ 2013-01-06 14:23 from L135 - click to readLet me tell you just one thing....Maruti Suzuki cars have the highest market share in India but they are hardly the best!

Not always sales are the true reflection of the quality of a product.

Answer ONE question to yourself:

If Windows Phone is so good (easy to use, functional, is integrated with Windows ecosystem), why is it so unpopular and losing market after 2 years of development? (WP7 had most of the features and mostly the same look as WP8). Remember that WP7 was pushed hard by such giant companies as Microsoft and Nokia (plus HTC, LG, Samsung). So why Windows Phone is so unpopular?

As you can see, it is not logical: good product+strong partners must lead to success. So let's think, we don't have a success and we have strong partners (at least with WP7, now Nokia is a lot weaker). That leaves us with a bad product to blame.

Uh, Nokia Maps, Bing, Vimeo which are all far superior and respects your integrity.

Also... Anyone using Gmail instead of Outlook.com deserves to be ridiculed. Same with Google Drive (Skydrive) and Google Apps (Office Web Apps).

OK, Lumia could happily survived without Google maps, but what about other wdph8 OEMs with poor bing maps ??
So sad, no more Google maps support to Window OS.

> In reply to sanbin24 @ 2013-01-06 08:14 from 6iNj - click to readIt is really cheap business tactics. Its like Microsoft stating that office document will only be opened by Microsoft office, this can have adverse effects on Google.

> In reply to sanbin24 @ 2013-01-06 08:14 from 6iNj - click to readMy friend please make a study properly. Google gets its revenue from ads not from the OS, the services you mentioned are also free and these cannot be stopped by Google as they fetch revenue by displaying ads in them. It doesn't matter to them what OS they are displayed on. They might stop the services temporarily but they will work out soon. As for the maps service, chill, they have already given a statement that they are working on it and as the WP Eco system grows, they will eventually make apps also. They where kicked out from iOS as well, what happened? They made a separate app. No need to get hyper. As for staying updated, i follow, arstechinca, engadget, verge and slashgear day in and day out. The moment they are updated, the moment I get the notification. The only time I miss is when I sleep. Peace :)

> In reply to tito73 @ 2013-01-05 23:42 from M8rs - click to readDear friend, although I use a dozen of android gadgets, I can far see that android days are now numbered IMHO - same fate as symbian. There will be better alternatives to take over soon, since open-source is now exposed for its flaws & shortcomings, especially the fragmentation nightmare it taught us to live with!

Anybody who badmouths MS/WP must first use WP for a few days (not at store for few minutes). Then if he/she returns disappointed with most of the stuff, he/she has full rights to bash WP for its flaws. Bashing WP without even first living with it is I would say plain stupid and mis-leading for other potential buyers. Remember - no OS can be perfect and moreover its about personal tastes/preferences! Thank you!
