Been using my L920 for a week now. Excellent phone. It doesn't top my N8 (yet). Lack of apps and battery life is the biggest disappointment at this moment. BUT I LOVE THE L920!!!

I've have been using my Lumia 920 for 2 weeks now and I prefer this to the Samsung III and iPhone 4S, (haven't tried the i5). Picture is great, battery lasts me 24 hrs with heavy use and connectivity to office mail has been great. Funny enough I haven't had issues with rebooting or hanging.

All in all, I would recommend the phone. It is really very good.

> In reply to jbpianist28 @ 2012-12-20 06:05 from 2CE8 - click to readi am used to watch movies on my phones since the 2.16"screen of my nokia 6600,and i know exactly how the screen resolution and the screen size can improve my watching experience.

the higher the resolution the better the gaming and movies experience regardless the screen size.

> In reply to advice @ 2012-12-19 07:56 from fwMk - click to readI know exactly what that is, I'm only say 720p screen resolution is enough on a phone, and you want know the difference on a 5inch screen... Seems you don't know much..

> In reply to advice @ 2012-12-19 17:57 from fwML - click to readA good example for phone display is to look for jagged edges, they are very visible even for 4.3 inch HD phones like Xperia Acro S, which has higher ppi than iphone.

For those with above average vision there is always the antialiasing fog around some small letters, these are usually visible at above 300 ppi also for people with just normal vision, so how someone came up with this 300 ppi limit? I have no idea but for sure those people dont have the best eyes around, or they are slightly farsighted and not using corrective lenses. (nearsighted people can actually see this better than the average eye person can, being nearsighted has its advantages)

the whole "300 ppi is max!" reminds me of the discussions in the past on how many FPS we need to get perfect fluid motion and what is the MAX FPS we can perceive, some swear its just 72, but tests done on US Navy pilots showed that the human eye is capable of capturing single frames at 220 FPS!

220 fps. Thats 3 times more than the previously claimed max fps. Could be same with ppi, its possible the real limit for ppi is closer to 900 then. Its easy to test anyway. Take a 300ppi phone and hold it 10 inches from your face, then at 20 inches, can you still see the jagged edges? If you can then 600 ppi is not enough (ref Apple and their Pixels Per Degree, 10 inch is the normal viewing distance for a cellphone, the PPD doubles by doubling the viewing distance)

almost a month on me, so far no problem^^ well, im not a heavy user btw. Low light pictures were stunning,m0re likely u shoot it at daytime. And guess what ,the security s quite difficult to break in so probably i cannot hack or modify the phone just like blackberry. But thanks to our network provider, it offers 4g,internet c0nnection is breeze and im using it for free. Fool ISP

> In reply to Mado of Egypt @ 2012-12-19 13:18 from fqdF - click to readthe 300 ppi is for the pixel density and not for the screen resolution ,the eye can not recognize single pixels on small screens with high screen resolution, but still can differentiate between image quality of the hd and full hd screens.

u can try it on full hd tv,because it has low pixel density u will be able to see single pixels when u stand near the tv ,then try to change between hd and full hd modes while watching a full hd channel or blue ray movie u will notice a big deference.....
