> In reply to jakir @ 2012-10-25 13:59 from P@1G - click to readlumia 610 710 800 all run windows 7.5. only lumia 810 820 920 run windows 8, but cost 500 to 600 euros. while huawei w1 runs windows 8 + free offline nokia maps for only 230 euros. huawei w1 is the best value phone for me.

> In reply to george @ 2012-10-25 13:31 from 0Tcy - click to readYour Huawei crap doesn't have offline Nokia maps, they're exclusive to Nokia phones, Huawei has Bing maps, which have taken some of Nokia maps features but aren't still comparable with Nokia or Google maps... What you're saying makes no sense... It's like saying that if you want Android you should go for a 150$ phone instead of a SGS3 because it is cheaper...

Yes, it's expensive, 600 at launch, but it's worth it, it's Nokia's flagship afterall, sth that never disappoints you, there may be similars from Huawei etc, but just think about clothes' market, a shirt may cost 10$ and another similar 100$, when you wear them, you get the difference.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-25 10:00 from TL5a - click to readi know not everyone can afford this one but there are alternatives like 610, 710, 800 though it may not be WP8 but windows 7.8 which is the light version of WP8. As I've said, im not forcing anyone to follow what im really talking about, we have our own choices and preferences so go for it! Im just expressing my opinion that's it.

Why Nokia can't learn from others? for 600 euro can't include basic FM radio, Java, external SD card...? Samsung phone sell well because they take customer feedback seriously and build a more complete phone.

Nokia should endeavour to make this phone available in the Middle East countries as soon as it is released.

So it doesn't support 3G speeds on Wind/Mobi, but will it still actually work on that network?

I don't download/upload anything so speed is not an issue- EDGE is perfectly fine for my uses. If I need high speed, I've got Wifi.

> In reply to george @ 2012-10-25 03:30 from 0Tcy - click to readwell then, I won't forced you to buy 920 as you said you want that Huawei then go. Who cares then? It is your right but what I know is the word "QUALITY" and I dont think Huawei have that word. Im not mad at china products its just that they were the first to build that trademark the so-called "no quality" over the decades, they just making money not "quality products". Truth hurts but yes it is.

> In reply to george @ 2012-10-25 00:11 from 0Tcy - click to readyou can try other lumia models like 610, 710, 800 though they aren't windows phone 8 but they can be upgraded to windows 7.8 (light version of WP8) and about Huawei?? I don't think so you will be happy in that phone because it is a china phone (we all knew that china phones are crap and no quality) so I still go with Nokia. Durable, high quality, and a trusted company for a decades now. There are so many choices in Nokia phones if you really running out that budget but switching to Huawei, Meizu, ZTE and other china brands? No way.. I'd rather go to Samsung, Sony, Motorola if I can't really decide on Nokia. I won't waste my hard earned money.
