This lumia is quality. Black one is lovely. Coloured ones are sporty.. Good build. Lasting . Not like cheap rubbish you pay over the odds for. . . Red is my favourite. .. Again well done Nokia and if Microsoft have brain in there chips, they will stay with you for the journey. .

Not bad phone, bad those who will buy this one will be stupid. Not worth to spend 600eur and only call, write sms, surf internet.. Very simple Features, The Specs also not worth money.

nokia must also understand that they are not making these phone for just a few selected developed countries where internet is cheap but the world all over. For us in Africa to listern to a radio online is would cost me US1/10Mb. how many would choose it becoz it NFC, wireless charging as strong factor? I consider these features extras those i may never use them. Nokia i being pulled down buy those who keep on introducing new things on every new phone phasing out important features that people are used. What is now consistant on nokia phone is the maps, camera & good hardware. (My dream - all things once on the symbian once again found on the new nokia windows phone) very soon similar cameras to nokias would be introduced by other manufacturers as an upgrade. Plse nokia be consistant on your features to keep old customers.

> In reply to geon97 @ 2012-10-07 08:52 from NaKN - click to readIt's really easy for apple to keep everything that they have, cos they have very little. Apple really has very few hardware based features that they would have to compromise on.

That said, the Lumia 920 does have the hardware for both FM radio and FM transmitter, it's in the chip, but it seems that for now Nokia isnt using them? Perhaps it can be enabled later or used with a third party app if for some reason WP8 doesnt have native support yet?

> In reply to HiT @ 2012-10-06 14:20 from 0BRb - click to readu are lost my friend, old nokia phones used used to have some of the features u mentioned, radio, transmitter, tv out etc. So what we are saying is why did they remove them, they force us not to upgrade becoz we would miss this or that they have not carried over to the new phone. Look at apple, they don't remove but improve & add new features as well. Thats why those with iphones do not hesitate to upgrade. As for me i don't mind the extra grams as long as it is packed with features that i use on daily bases without having to carry an extra gadget eg radio for my convenience

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-10-06 23:26 from mInZ - click to readThe problem is not that Nokia is not wanted, but that it is designed by Finns for Finns. The only Finnish products to have caught on are GSM, SMS, Linux and the Molotov Cocktail. The rest of finnish innovation has stayed at home with us (in some cases that can be taken literarily). Nokia needs to design products that say, "I'm better than an iPhone, there is no way of denying it"! At the moment they are saying "Mock me as much as you want, I'll get you back as soon as you open the Maps App!".

Nokia has given us so much. And they lead the mobile world to where we are today. And they own a lot patents that other mobiles fall under. People seem to forget this. Nokia is fighting for its place which they so deserve. I think the lumia can do it. . If people don't like this mob. Are if there own countries offer more on technology, they don't really need to be here in this room. I'm not hijacking Samsung are iPhone room. . Some understanding and basic humanity skills are needed. We don't live in caves now. Lets be better people and wish all luck in the mobile world. We need to have a few mobile leaders about for rivalry.

> In reply to Tiago @ 2012-10-06 14:03 from Lpn2 - click to readIt's strange, that everyone complain how expensive
it is? You just don't get, that the quality must been paid.
If it has better camera, wireless charging etc.,
then how the hell it can be cheaper than SG3?
Must be taking consideration, that SG3 has been almost
a half year in the market and it cost even a little bit more, when it came out. On the other hand, it's still little cheaper than iPhone5 and certainly has better spec.

It's stupid, that everybody is ready to pay small fortune for iPhone5, because it's so hot, no matter how expensive it is just because it's iPhone5. No one are complaining the price.

It's more the queastion of reputation and Nokia isn't
so wanted right now.

> In reply to willboyce @ 2012-10-06 00:08 from m5fC - click to readI think I made myself understood. Not Nokia is the first with Wireless Charging technology as some people thought. Japan is always ahead of Europe or America. Japan for example makes waterproof phones since 2006(Sony Ericsson So902 WP), in 2007 Fujitsu entered the game as well. The first camera phone(commercial) was made by Sharp as I know. They have many phones with wallet feature, they have solar phones as well and so on. If Fujitsu will enter in the European markets things will change for sure, even Samsung will feel their presence after a time(my opinion).

FM transmitter also is not replaceable by any app cos it requires hardware. Learn the difference between FM Radio and FM transmitter.
