praegrandis, 04 Oct 2012Well, where can I buy a DSLR that I can use to IM, call and surf the net? Pssh. And oooh, a DS... morejust wonder if they had added Fm radio & transmitter and other items which we enjoy on older nokias, would there be any reason to stick to N8 or N9 or any older nokia handset? The answer is definately NO.
geon97, 06 Oct 2012as for me i don't mind the wait as long as they have packed what i use/need e.g. Fm transmitte... more920 wont have FM transmitter, so you might have to wait for another model. That said, I dont think any Windows Phone up to date has had FM transmitter, so it could be its not even supported yet on software-level.
Wheez, 04 Oct 2012I wish new Nokias had that too. Im really gonna miss the FM transmitter from my N8. I'd guess ... moreas for me i don't mind the wait as long as they have packed what i use/need e.g. Fm transmitter. We use these features every day
geon97, 06 Oct 2012that is if you don't mind to part away with FM radio and transmitterIve never used the radio, but really sucks to give up transmitter. Been using N8 from its launch day, but I still want to upgrade to lumia 920 despite no transmitter, maybe ill just get a third party dongle to the car.
Emon, 05 Oct 2012If I replace my good old buddy N8 maybe that will be by Lumia 920.Nokia Rocks..that is if you don't mind to part away with FM radio and transmitter
Anonymous, 06 Oct 2012wp8.is not out yet.anyway ms won't allow the customers to get disappointed after waiting so lo... moreStuff like the "freezing multitasking" is one of the biggest reasons WP is so much lighter on the resources and RAM than Android. It is decisions like that make the difference.
Most people would have zero use to ever have true multitasking on anything but music player and navigator, and those apps do have true multitasking. WP is catering more towards your average user than some über poweruser who needs to get everything done on their phone. I personally see WP between iOS and Android. It's far more user friendly and intuitive than Android, but it isnt quite as free/capable as Android. WP isnt necessarily quite as easy to use as iOS, but its far more capable than iOS, that to be honest isnt even a SMARTphone if you ask me.
Also, I believe BT transferring has been confirmed a good while ago.
Anonymous, 06 Oct 2012wp8.is not out yet.anyway ms won't allow the customers to get disappointed after waiting so lo... moreWell, I was thinking... If Apple can disappoint half of the world after one year long wait, why can't Microsoft? in just 2 months?
I am not against wp8 but just wondering, it's now 5 years and Apple still doesn't allow you to even transfer a file via Bluetooth. Then how can we assure that MS will give us free hand?
all time nokia is the king of the smart phones.
and nokia is dont copy anything like samsung.
Wheez, 05 Oct 2012He probably means that not all apps will actually run in the background when multitasking, but... morewp8.is not out yet.anyway ms won't allow the customers to get disappointed after waiting so long! We all know wp or any other smartphone platform is already better than the power hungry android at managing ram and memory.
