N70 is a good looking phone, but too many software problems for the money you have to pay for this phone. My advise dont buy the phone its not worth the money or the headaches.

N70 is utter rubbish, stylish looking phone , but too slow and too many software bugs and lots of crashes and the phone freezes up every hour or so.

this phone is beyond crap...I've had this phone for less than 6 weeks and the phone keeps freezing, the phone crashes without notice . The one thing I will say is DONT BUY THIS PHONE, wait and see if the N80 is better. I think the N70 is a "beta" version.. I think the phone was just released so that the consumers shamefully would find all the software bugs and thus make the N80 better. but the phone has been hell and a total waste of money and inconvenience. The N70 is total rubbish. DONT BUY THE N70

I've upgraded my firmware to V. 3.0546.2.3 and also updated the patch. However, at times, Private Number calls plays the Nokia Ringtone instead of my preset ringtone. Why ?

anyone encountered similar prob ?

i got my n70 today,and just wanna know few things:

1.the keypad light dont light up sometimes,y?
2.its getting keypad lock automaticly.how to off it so i can lock it manually,even after i adjust the autolock perios under security settings,it still locks,help plz

To Prem:

The PC connection goes like this: a) install Nokia PC Suite on your computer; b) connect mobile to PC and wait for Windows to setup the drivers (note that I'm talking about Windows XP SP2, but other win versions work the same way I guess); c) open PC Suite. Now a potentially tricky part: If your PC recognizes the phone but it does not communicate with it (e.g. you can't tranfer files) go to Start-->Run, type "Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll" (without the "") and press enter. Have fun!

I just got an N70 and it looks really cool to me so far. Just two questions. (1) Do I have to install any software before I connect it to PC. (2) How do I add songs to the memory card. Answers would be appreciated.

People do not buy this phone, i've lost count of the times this phone has hung up, crashed, slowed down, software not working, tomtom mobile crashed while i was driving!!, so happy to get rid off it. This is a very unstable phone, very suprised at nokia making a phone like this, i hope the n80 is not like this.

Hey people. I picked up the N70 a few months back and i must say that it is an excellent phone. I have even added a 1GB card to it. The only problem i face is that i cannot hide any image or file. Wherever i store the file, it is always visible in the Gallery and can be seen by anyone. If anyone can tell me how to someone keep files hidden please mail me. Thanks guys/girls.

Had My phone for 2 weeks now and damn its good!!! I usually go for a sony ericsson make but this time I was surprised that nokia did come up with a very good phone. Design flawless and functions extremely helpfull!!! Anyone who see's it are surprised and often reacts with awe!

I was going through N70 third party software at my-symbian site but i could not locate software for full screen caller id which also supports N70. Someone please let me know if there is any such software available for N70 and from where I can get it

hey peoples its a best phone ever.its 100 times better then k750i or 6680.its a phone wid complete features.but this phone has one problem dat it is very excellent phone ever.

Regarding to the no vibrate and no voice. that is the firmware problem.. till now, there is no new firmware to fizx this problem.. hehe.. i m going to sell my 6680 and get this phone.. cause it come with FM function, i can listen to FM anytime when i m free..

this phone rocks man.. been havin it about a week or so..no prob yet..so far...everything is superb=) hehe a phone u can't regret having.the clarity of the sound is way better than w800i and it comes in handy all the time

I am using nokia n70 since last 6 months I need small help for mp3 player now if any body has idea about good mp3 player which has good bass effect and can be installed on nokia n70 and 6630 and 3230 please tell me name of that mp3 player and from where I can download and give me link for that I will be grateful if any body gives me answer for my question

2) is there any software through which we can make fm in our hand sets more bass and with lot of effects if so please give me name of that software also and its link
