i'm thinking of buying a Nokia N70. can anyone tell me what's the problems of that phone? it doesnt have IrDA. what's way to get connected with PC thru PC SUIT without DKU-2? what're the correct Bluetooth device for this set? what's the price of a Bluetooth device compatible with this set. if anyone knows, email me at: shazan11@gmail.com

Well i have had the N70 one week now and it is growing on me, only had today to play with it, and it has got every thing that i want i a smart phone, but if you are up grading from a nokia 6680 this would not be the phone for you, but if you are up grading from a nokia 6630 then this is the one, works on the same methods but you find that the features are much more over loading, and you will have alot of fun and use with it..there is not much difference from the the 6680, so if you have 1 do not up grade to it cause you will not be happy....The start up of the phone is very slow to, thats with all phones that run on the Symbian software, and you find the phone with more features will take alot longer to start up so do not fuss. The N70 is a fine phone and it is only for the person that will appreciate it and use it for all of it's software. 4 Get the n90, N70 is the one if you have used Nokia most of your life going back to 1996 move on and get this phone.

mi nokia n70 is better than n90 its 2 camera and video call and flash you can pot the pictures in a black and white and it can be zoom x50 plus with options and the desigen for a men the music is very high sound and better than n90 the soft ware is better than n90 and the flash is better and the camera 4.8mm 1.3.2 2 mega pixel and ho buy n90 he is agirl

Great phone! Nice PDA functions and a very nice engine for the tomtom V5.2, runs smootly and is compatibale with almost every BT gps receiver(runs fine with the Adapt AD-300). Video and audio runs with RealPlayer and that's a must see!

I have read every post here about the phone and have taken note of all the solutions given for the problems the phone have. I have ordered my phone 3 weeks ago and is still waiting delivery of it. So thanks for all the info and tips and will let you know once it gets delivered.

Did anyone tried to connect the N70 to a SE bluetooth earpiece? I can't seem to make them find each other. Did anyone had the same problem?
Can it be corrected? Is it possible to make them connect? I think the model number for the bluetooth is NADP-2EB, but not sure.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Great Phone. I have upgraded the MMC to 512 MB; no problems at all. I have been using it for 3 months and becoming more and more addicted to it. Cheers !!!!!!

To whom it may concern:
Some people have trouble connecting their N70 to a PC. While the PC recognizes the phone, no communication can be established. The following trick permanently solves the problem and it has been tested on XP-SP2 (I don't know about other versions, but it's worth trying)
Go to Start-->Run, type "Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll" (without the "") and the problem is gone!

Ur welcome glad to help u. About ur phone camera, if u slide it down & don't use anything else on it n close it back the phone keypad will lock again.
As for my opinion on the phone, I have always wanted it, I read up about it so much b4 getting it.
It is a brilliant phone, just that the startup time is long (hint: you may want to upgrade the mem. card to a 512MB 1).

Please if somebody can instruct me on how to change Vodafone Logo as my Screen Saver, because in Theme Menu I only have options of Text, and Date. Thanks!

How is the audio quality of this phone i.e when playing files in loudspeaker mode...is the sound mono or stereo...coz most of the previous versions like 3230,6600,6260 have a mono sound effect wheras the sony ericsson phones have amazing sound.Does this phone have a decent enuf sound quality in short

Nokia Can not solve the problem of its phone's low speed start up! I bough a N70 yesterday and it took 0:58 Sec to start! Thats very odd about nokia....

It is one of my favorite phone. Generally, all function of a smartphone I need is this phone. The camera is fantastic. It is crisp and colorful. Not tried yet in the night.

i love this phone, ok it has some slow start ups, but it dont bother me. the only issue i have with it is, when you download themes with dark backgrounds, and then when trying to text, this phone keeps your theme in the background, so you cannot see the letters that you are typing. the answer is to use only themes with light backgrounds. but other than that, i love it 9/10
