SARA....
N70 is a great smart phone,i have used this phone for about 2weeks(dont own 1 though)i am using an I-MATE now but i still like the N70,HOWEVERRRRRRRR!!! there is no harm to be honest and say that W900 would be much much better than the N70,both are great,smart,and will have the things you need but the W900 has more things to give like the more MORE memory and being a little more faster than the N70,after all i think nothing is bad from SONY,its always the best and as they say on TV lol LIKE NO OTHER!!
think and go for the one you see is better for you and you're needs.

N70 not only plays mp4 video, but it also records mp4 video, with the great resulution ( for phone ) 352x288, which is double of the SE K750's one ( 176x144 ). I actually did one video, and if manage to upload it somewhere, I'll provide it here.
With the app SmartMovie, for example, you can convert all the videos on your PC, and put it on the phone, with more then great quality.

The one who asked about the trade with k750i. - I think it's totaly worthed. Nokia N70 is much better then SE K750i. You have yet to discover the numerous passibilities of the Symbian Operation System. Once you get to know it a little bit better, you'll never wonna go back to a non Symbian device. There are so meny games, Instant Messengers, very cool video players and recorders, Microsoft office, pdf+, and so, and so, and so on. Not even mentioning the 3G, and the video conversation. Thing it over. If you do, you'll come to the same conclusion, that I have.

Got it last week. So far I'm satisfied with its performance, though I was a bit pessimist of buying it at first but I took the risk. Might be because of the unpleasant experience of others. Fortunately, everything seemed to be operating without any glitch from day one since I purchased it. But, I think it could be better off without the sliding panel behind the phone. Overall - thumbs up for N70!

@hoggie,
if u want to set mp3 as ringtones from the memory card, while copying the songs, just go to nokia phone browser and copy it to E:\sounds\digital, problem solved!!

Hello. I've had my N70 for well over three months now. I believe it's a great phone and the features are suited to my needs. Just like a lot of you here, however, I too have been having problems with the software. After visiting various Nokia outlets (in Manila) since the time I experienced the problem, I finally got a software upgrade to v.3. I'm glad to say that everything's been working fine now. The newer version likewise responds a bit faster. Hopefully all of the previous bugs have been adressed.

Hi!Anyone knows how to select ringtones from memory card? I have some MP3 songs in my MMC but I can't see them when trying to select ringtones, only after I copied those songs from MMC to phone memory I can then see the songs in the ringtones list. Any ideas? THanks!

Clearly this phone really does suits a lot of people, but equally there seem to be many who hate it - me included. Reasons are it's too slow. It takes 60 seconds of boot up (ridiculous), it's full of bloat ware (Nokia are getting worse than MS on this) and the Symbian OS is less than stellar. Nokia can do better, but their declining market share may be linked to these kind of over packed over hyped phones. Surely most users only need a fraction of the software on this - and it all slows it down. Mine is heading to Ebay. I am sorry it's not the one for me as I have been a loyal Nokia user for years, but this time they lost me with a lacklustre product. If you are considering a purchase, it might be good for you, but do your homework.
