this phone has a company problem

they scrash after few days, later it starts going off

and again it hangs and slows down

later camera spoils

else it is one of my admired phones cos it has alot for its kind

good pic quality

best phone i've ever had...
u can easily control the camera... good for a small movie director or if u wanna be a model without photographer... :P
im using this phone about 2 years ago, but it had been stolen... and then im using N73, N80...but both of them are not as good as N71... now, i'm using N71 again... love this phone...

I think it a nice phone... guess what I droped on the pool, and you what the F.. antenna it's built into the circuitry, and they CAN NOT REPAIR IT, aint that great??? in other words what the F.. do I do with this phone?????

its my opinion to all of you who r thinking to buy this phone..........PLEASE DONT BUY IT!!!
it is a dumb ass phone...........complete wastage of your money.......unfortunately i own this freaky set...........

hi,, this phone starts well but everywhile it come more annoying from the display scratches & once u move or just touch the mob near the memorycard pocket it pop ups saying remove memory card.. making in all of a sudden any riningtone default as message willnot be @ z mem,card too ..

n71 is one of the best fone im using ,but the cam is not working anymore....hardware failure is the problem..it cant be repaired anymore!!!!!

can anyone tell me? when some one make a call to me how can i make the screen that show its change by photo or photo id not in the smaal one but in the full screen size

is there anyone can help me?, i change my memory card with 1gb and when instaled i can't download my themes the notes is ( apllication error ) .

iTS been almost 2-3 yrs now.. and i still miss this phone... I bought a new car and i need this phone badly to match the Style...

I remember when my Friend Rnm saw this phone for the first time, he freaked out looking at the features and shape...
He gave me a new name from that day.. TREND SETTER..

I started the new era of buying stylish and trendy phones among my friends...They were stuck with basic color phones with radio..

Negative feeds oozing from the gut of this phone... i already bought it so i guess i have to wait if all these stuff u guys saying will show up, hopefully not... i have chosen between this and the E61, and n71 prevails... dont let me down, babe!

All your babbling are software issues, yep i've heard lotsa complaints about the main camera not working and stuff... n71 carries a new breed of symbiam os so it is in its boomer stage when Nokia used it with n71, n91 etc... a firmware update make be the best resort but be very careful when you do it by urself... may cause much bigger issues when done the wrong way.... Hopefully i will not stumble on the same problems you guys have, i love this phone so far... and what the hell is, ..."it can play music but it is not what its built for (or something like that..),? this phone plyas much better music that n91!... (tested thru sennheiser headsets)...

I planned of buying N71 before. With the fold closed, can you take self-photos using the main camera? I am kind of a narcissistic person; i love taking photos of me. the camera, and the ability to take self-photos using the main camera with the viewfinder facing me is really my top concern.

i have now my N93i but it disappoints me when I knew that I cannot take good self-photos with it (except when you use the front camera, which resolution is not good). I thought I can twist the viewfinder to myself while the main camera facing me, but no! It doesn't work that way. I still have to twist the viewfinder to the other side, making taking self-photos a difficult task (try, and try, and try? that's a lot of hard work).

can you guys email me if N71 does what I want for a phone? i don't visit this site very often so please kindly send your answers to my site zangcaesar[dot]com as comment. i would appreciate it. although N71 is now rather not sold by Nokia, I believe there are those who can sell it for me as second-hand. thanks!

this id the worst phone i have ever had, nokia should be ashamed and they should give a new phone to every owner of this horrible phone!!! i bought it and on the 10th day its camera stopped working. it was on a 6 month repair, and after the 5 day it stopped working again!!!!!!!! i am going to run over this phone when i buy a new one, i haaaaaateeeeee it!!!!! i updated the software and the new one is even worser!!! in restarts on every call, and the speaker is quieter then before. in am so disapointed i am just angry i hate it!!!!

Guys,

Had the same problem for about 8 mos ago, then i've learned from a friend that all I need it a so called "Black-out Reformat" where in ur cp's OS and application will be remove just like reformating your PC.. And it worked for me!!! TRY IT GUYS

I have the problems like the others have said, I love the Nokia N71 very much but it dissapoints me when it says MEMORY FULL DELETE SOME DATA i have tried to delete all un-necessary data but still it demands to delete some data, another problem is ntework conncetion is not available at no reason, another problem is sms sending, it takes 1 minute for one sms to be sent, it reboots its self at no reason, pls if you have any way to solve these problems help me pls I like the phone
