Its barely a year since I purchased it, I have been having issues with the main camera. Have been getting messages like 'SIM not registered', 'Phone will restart'. Very frustrated. Not happy.

Deadly phone, though keyboard scratching display part of phone, one has to sadly admit.No other frets.

It is really unbelievable the keyboard scratches the display. This is by far the only problem and disadvantage I have observed in this great phone. It could have been a perfect cell phone if it didn't have this small issue.

the front camera is only for video calling and not for any other purpose.

to the guy who said he was having problems with OUT OF MEMORY errors. it's a bug i found in this phone. If you try to put too many photos into a mini-screen screensaver slide they get stuck onto your phone's memory. best solution, format it.

I saw that one of my classmates has this phone and thought it was japanese. It is a big, brick of a phone that is very rugged and high quality. I liked the vivid, colorful screen, simple clean menu, and the high resolution camera. Although, many owners have seemed to have many issues with various firmware causing slow proccesors and text speed among other things. One of the more ineresting phones I've seen.

I come with this problem with the memory on the N71 at my shop , i think it could be resolved with a hard reset or with an update , this eror is seen at video capture mode , i'l try to play with the settings , if not an HARD RESET is written on it .

This is one of the troublesome phones i have seen. The keypad scratching the screen...phew. For sms speeding try and download sms accelarator from nokia website. It you cant find it then go to nokia 3250 or N80 page and click on the software and look for sms accelarator. I guess upgrading the firmware might help the blank screen and the slow reponse of the mobile.

i'm having similar problems; blank screen, no phone memory available, slow sms sending, self reboot, what should i do, you can reply via my email address, couldn't find the free software on that link "series60v3.com"

try deleting some stuff from ur phone memory or try formatting ur memory card

i received my n71 in january 2007. being a student i rely heavily on my phone. recently my phone has been giving me endless problems. i deleted almost all music and images and all unnecessary folders and files and still it says MEMORY FULL! PLEASE DELETE SOME DATA!im running out of options on what else to delete. i love nokia and have always upgraded only ever to nokia.

hi , i bought this phone 1.5 years a go . it's not bad , but has many serious problems ! lately i upgraded it's main software and it work's more better ! it's first problem is memory card ejecting automatically ( make me mad !!! ) , second: keybord scratching the main screen ! ( shame on nokia for this problem !!!) ,i solve this problem with sticky clear band on it's screen. however honestly i love my phone , be cause of great classy design, and good looking ! one more thig, can some one tell me , where i can download good free softwares for my phone ?( symbian 3rd version, or java softwares )
