I've bought N73 for 3 days. For me the software it's better then N70, but i got 2 times hang already. The phone sometimes get lag, compare to N70, Nokia have to do extra work to fix their firmware. I love the resolution of the screen which is very convenient of course because of the higher resolution. I think if N73 have less bug / Nokia already fix the problem by releasing new firmware asap, it'll be very fantastic.

Is there any body can help me how to transfer my contact from N70 to N73 since all my software for backup contact cannot run at N73.
I already use PC Suite. But cannot transfer perfectly. I have more then 700 names which is sometimes have more then 5 details that i edited the label. I backup all the contact at N70 with PC Suite and restore for the contact to N73. PC Suite cannot did it for all the contact that i changed the label. So PC Suite only set the name but cannot write the details.

i am big fan of se but after nokia n series i love nokia because nokia workind hard and made fast mobiles like 3250 n80 n73 n93 n72 even n70 is not slow .i bouth it and compare wiht my friend its w850 and k800 i win in sound .feature,speed,nokia,s best

I would say N73.
N90 is kind of old to buy now & it has 2mp camera so forget about it.
K800i is good but N73 is better in these things,
-bigger screen
-3D sound speakers
and more few things,so i think you should go for the N73 BUT NOT the normal one,i think you should wait for the music edition one which will be out in this month.

I used the N73 for a week & i didnt face any problems,but i hear everybody is talking about the lens cover.
NOW that i am an N80 user would you please tell me how it gets loose,in other words! what happens to the cover????
It doesnt go to its place when you close it very well? or what really happens to the cover???
PLEASE GUYS TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS TO THE COVER IN DITEAL.

why dont you like joysticks?.. does the joystick in this handset get wiggly after a few times?.. then what handset would you recommend out of this 3.. n73, k800i, or n90... thanks man..

Okay, If I you want to hear what would I recommend then I think I would say N80. and let me tell you why:
- I DON’T like joysticks at all; N80 doesn’t have one which is better.
- UPnp & WiFi are important things to me as I am a laptop user, I find it very useful with my laptop.
- N80 is a real class phone & the phone packs a good deal of horsepower under its bonnet. (some words are taken from the N80 review,1st page)
THAT would be my opinion as you asked which one I would recommend.
Now lets talk about things you care about in a cell phone, you mentioned the camera & MP3 player.
Well, N80 take very good pictures and it’s mentioned in the review between K800i & N80 & you can read it for more information, however the N73 take a better shoots BUT it’s not a big difference at all. People and review say that it’s kind of hard to notice this difference.
The MP3, Words are very clear and I guess everybody saw what I saw in the N80’s review 1st page, read the Key Features. At the 6th Point you will read EXCELLENT audio quality.
YES, one of the best power points of the N80 is the sound quality, not just mentioned in this website but in the main NOKIA website, it says N80 offers a very high class sound quality, though N73 is louder when it comes to the handset sound cause it offers 3 speakers, 2 on top, 1 at bottom. But N80 give a loud sound also. So the ring tones are loud in both N80 & N73.
Think again & look for the one that will suit you’re needs. Try to read the reviews and use the handset and ask more in the NOKIA center you have in you’re area. I am sure you will make you mind then.

Yes the N73 music edition will hit the market after the half of this month October, when I said 20 days I meant for it as MAX, you can expect it sooner than 20 days but what I am sure of that it will hit the market in October, while the N91 music edition should be out by the end of this year in December.
About what will the N73 ME offer more is, a memory card 1GB, WMP Installed and ummm lol it comes dressed in black which makes it looks better and cooler.

To the guy below...
The biggest difference will be the colour and the software. I am ready to pay for those. They have also changed the multimedia button to a dedicated music key and included bigger memory and nicer headset with 3.5mm adaptor.
That´s the differences. Or did I leave something out?

ok ok.. so i guess the poll says n73 is better than the k800i.. i have three questions.. i hope you guys can answer this..
1. does the joystick on this fone get loose easily?.. i mean with frequent use..
2. you say the camera cover easily comes lose after a number of use.. so.. can this problem be given a solution?..
3. and lastly, which is better.. the n73 ME or the regular n73?.. both looks cool.. i want the one with the most features and doenst hang a lot..

How many users cannot live without Wifi? It is just an extra to most users.
Slider is nice, but N80 is a real fat slider compared to samsung, i want a slider phones, i choose samsung over nokia...
N80 battery life is not as good as N73...
Used N93 b4...i cannot imagine anyone wanting to carry a "brick" on the streets.....different phones for diff users i guess......

Im sorri to those who have done the review for this fone, but i would personally say that the N73 is no where near "overruning" the king of mobile, N80. The almighty N80 will run all over this cheesy N73.
Lets compare it shall we? Since I do own BOTH OF THESE FONES:
to those who owned the n73, beside that great 3.2mp and the autofocus tell me what is is good about it? the screen? SORRI, the n80 would outclass this n73 any days with the screen, wifi? dont think so. Style? I thought everyone here agree that slider was one of the classiest type of design? would u want a borin fone that is just A BAR??? the button on this thing is so cheesy i felt bad for buyin it, the n80 button are more sturdy. The camera cover is also cheesy. And the direction joystick is lame to use, it's no where near the d pad on the n80. Resolution wise, the king of mobile will run all over this N73. I would say that N73 is a beginer fone for N serie user. N80 is by far much more features and advance function. So im personal opinion and with respect to all of the readers as well as reviewers, I think that the N80 is by far is still the best N serie model. The only thing that could be compare to N80 or might outclass it, is the N93.

just receivd n73 white / red today. it is awesum. Few downsides but they are very minor wen upgrading from a 6260. The camera cover has alreddy gone loose, the buttons r quite small(ill get used to that) and the joystick is very fragile(couldnt care less). overall fantastic fone, wid a 2gb miniSD u cant go rong. sound is awesum

TO hello.......
As i always say,you should be a phone that help you're needs.
N80 has UPnp,352X416 screen,WiFi and its a real classy phone with its stylish look.
N73 has nothing i mention above but a larger screen with 240x320 which is still good,3.2 camera with carlziess,3D sound speaker,and offers a little more battery life than N80.
NOW look which phone will suit you're needs and go for it,both are great but it depends on you're needs.

Yeah,sure you can go for the N73 cause its great.
HOWEVER,how about waiting 20 more days to buy the N73 Music Eidtion,same thing but dressed in cool black and with WMP already installed in.
What can i say lol but black is King Of all colors.
