Phone full on defects, especially network connection and functionality

Cons: All - Basically the phone hangs before executing any function and it will reboot if faces error
Opinion:
I bought a N73 after being a user on Nokia for 6 years, considering that it is one of the top line products I was expecting that basic functions will not face any problem.
But when I set N73 to Offline mode during my travel it never came back to general mode. tried chaning the profile to General (Network Access). The phone used to hang for sometime and then reboot. After reboot it was still in Offline mode. I contacted Nokia care center and they recommended on submitting the phone to Nokia care center.
They said it was a hardware problem which will require level II support and cannot be rectified. Even today the phone is with Nokia Care center.
It has not been working from day one and it will one month before which they will try and provide the phone back.
I frankly dont understand why does Nokia launch phones in market if they are not sure about quality of the product.
Frankly I would not personally recommend this phone to anyone.

Anyone who knew and pro that know how to update the firmware for n73 pls teach..
Questions
1) is it free to update the firmware?
2) how do we know what is our version ?
3) where to get the newest version?
4) The step of installing the new firmware?
5) Do we need any knowledge about it only we can upgrade the firmware ourselve?

please please friends do not do what anip says and don't upgrade software with that link. It just puts a virus on your phone and you can't use it anymore. :(
Anip - why would you do such a thing? I saved for months for this phone and now it is ruined because i took your advice

till now I dont have any prob with joy stick. It works very fine without slippry and is exact press as I want.

I just want to Know how the joystick of this phone turns out to be ? Compared to the crappy joystick of the SE W800i ? And how is the smallish keypad ? I need your opinions urgently !

3)how much time the auto focus takes, in a dark place???

i just got the black music edition the day before thanksgiving and the 2 gig card doesn't seem to slow the pohne down at all. i love this phone!

had my n73 for 1 week and i never had any problems. its a great phone no matter what they say. connecting it to my laptop and using it to connect in the internet is so easy. it also has a wonderful browser. takes beautiful pictures and videos. nice sounds. n73 is one of the best phones in the market.

Excellent phone... bought it a week back... the new firmware doesn't hang and is dam fast...
Cool n huge screen and camera quality is outstanding... Great phone to buy...
Can any one tell me how a 2 GB card works on this phone... does it make the phone slower...

If anyone is having problem of restarting their N73 while receiving a call, Do turn off the 3D Tones under the Application Menu.

planning to buy a N73 next month, wait for the promotion so hope can get the special price and discount.
but feel confuse to choose either N73 or N73 ME..??? juz like how to choose a girl as gf between both of them...hehe...!!!
