Dude, it has got 3mpx. You can set it to 2mpx from the settings if you want. And the zoom hasn´t got anything to do with that. Yhe zoom does actually decrease the number of pixels and make the quality worse.

Yup, the phone has just 2MP on it. I think why they posted it as 3.15 because of the digital zoom feature 20x. that's why people are complaining of having problems of picture quality is because they are using the zoom too much. When they print a picture taken using 15-20x zoom of course it will have lines on it because using the zoom feature will focus contract the focus thus will result to poor picture quality.

Go on to the Nokia webpage an you can download the automatic key lock by just getting your phone connected to your p/c an the data cable connected to your mobile it works o.k

Im planning to buy this phone. I visit this site so I can see if there's any problem with these phone. From what I've read I think if you take care of your phone it will work right for you. Some people say it has problems, some people say it's great but I think it's just how one uses it determines if it's gonna break or not.

within 2 weeks of getting phone the slide show stopped working in zoom and pan. sent away for repairs, took 6 weeks and they replaced phone. Got new phone, same problem. Normal slide show (from gallery) works fine but when set to zoom and pan it only shows one photo then goes black.Anyone else had this problem? thanks

Hey this phone looks amazing. i really wanna get it. BUT i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the software may work on a Mac, or if i could get Mac software for it.

Hi!

Well, after 3+ months of trying various phones I have returned to the N73. I tried SE 810i, SE K800i, Nokia N80, SE P990i and SE W850i as well as the N73 a couple of months ago.
It is not perfect - nothing is but I think this will be a good fone for the next year or so.

Hi everyone does anyone who knows how to change the fascias on the N73 i have change the front easily as you just need to use a credit card an lift i up a little near the "c" button a work round an it comes off easily,i just want to get any manual instructions how to change the back part of the fascia without causing any damage to the phone ,i have a black fascia an the N73 looks superb in Black,so if anyone can help let me know please

The card was working to begin with but was really really slow then it gave up the ghost and it wouldn't even let me format it. i phoned the store this morning and even they said it sounded as if it had a dodgy chip in it, but they are going to replace it.
It's a pity because i love the phone, without the card in it's fantastic, best and quickest symbian phone ever imo. I was just unlucky with a dodgy memory card i guess.
I'll see what happens with the new one.

From what I have read some not all brands would work in the n73. I have heard cards from Ebay would have 2 gb labels but 1 gb capacity. I have a 2 Gb Moby card from MobyMemory and that is working fine. I managed to download 1.85 Gb of music and movies. I have 1.1 gb of music which stays on the card all the time and download and delete movies as when I need to. I formatted my card in the phone and not on the PC so I don't know if that made a difference.

seeing all urs opinions bout n73, i'm blurred whether to buy or not to buy this hp.
well, i did do a tone comparison btn n73 with se z610, seems z610 sound quality is better...thats make me sad...
coz im planning to buy this hp next month as my own christmas present...

hai guys i have bought nokia n73 20 days back.i think it is one of the best model nokia produce,camera & screen quality is excelent& audio is good.after comparing lot of models between nokia & sony ericsson ihave bought this. iam very much satisfied.

Still having all sorts of bother with the memory card, the phone only recognised it as 1gb but it worked fine with photos but as soon as i put mp3 files on it thats it kaput, i cant even format it now, i haven't got a clue whats wrong with it think it must be a dodgy card looks like i'll have to send it back.

Yes it was from my memory i've tried to fmt the card in the phone but it wont let me for some reason. I've done it on the conp @ it seems to be ok now but transfering files is painfully slow

The said mini sd was it from MyMemory? I have a 2gb card and have I gb of music. OK the camera is slow but not like what you quoted. I have films as well and now it if almost full and crashed once or twice.
Try format by the phone and not the PC/ Tramsfer the data onto the phone and not within your PC. I formatted the card in my phone and transferred data to it, when I put the card in my pc it does not show any data and said if I would like to format again.

why do people always seem to pull mobiles down on these pages,the camera cover is o.k as long as you take care of it an better than the k800i one thats why i sent that phone back ,the n73 is a very good mobile indeed ,the sounds of the speakers is loud the camera superb an i am sure nokia will be putting better flashes on there mobiles now to make there cameras even better,to take better care of your lens cover buy a clear crystal case of Ebay or any where else to take could care of your mobile phone an screen,still no news of the MEXN73 but its Xmas nextmonth so i am sure Nokia will release the Black N73 to get better sales with it release date

had my N73 for a week now and as a mobile phone it's first class does everything you ask of it without problems. great screen, no txt message probs, battery time superb.
but got a new 2gb memory card 2 days ago and this is where my problems started it was supposed to be fast 133x but since putting it in i've had the camera slow up considerably as it waits to save to said card even looking at the photos afterwards you have to wait an age for then to open and i'm not talking 10-15 seconds i'm talking 30+ secs each photo.
as for playing mp3s it's brilliant but once again the memory card gave me probs when transfering music to it it took an age.
now i really like the phone but if this is what a memory card does then i'll be pretty pissed and it will go back to vodafone and i'll stick to my w810.
if anyone has any ideas them please let me know asap.
