To Pfmh:- Hi,the main problems r
1/. n73 dont ask u like: "This file already exits. Do u want to over write ?" it is saving again and again the samee files. Or u have to delete the files after saving which deletes all the fotos etc and ur wallpaper fotos also deletes.
dun really get what you mean, but just save in different filenames?
2/. Alarm :In siemens they have week days ,so u can selecct the days for the alarm activate eg: I dont want alarm on sunday,so I can tick off sunday . once u set it, there is no need to adjust the alarm every day, or every weeek ,or everymonth .
I know hw to solve this problem, but it is not exactly legal of coz...so i cannot post it here....
3/.Recording voice :In sony erricson u can rec according to the memory . but in this u can record only one minute.

4/ Wallpeper :- Till now I m not able to put full screen wallpaper like siemens. Do u have any solution?
You CANNOT have a full screen wallpaper for N73. dis-believers can try it themselves.
5/Menu on the screen: There is no option to remove or edit the shortcut menu on the main screen.
till now I found only these limitation.

Nah, you cannot remove the shortcut menu, although you can remove the standby appz.

Why is symbian so unstabke? is it just me? It is really giving me headaches. I saved for some time 2 afford this but now i'm regretting it

I recently bought a nokia n73. Everything was great until a week ago. I noticed that everytime the backlight of my phone turns off for power saving, I no longer recieve text or calls even if there is a full signal. If someone tries to call me, they get a message that my phone cannot be reached.
If I push any button and the backlight turns on again, I can already be callled and can receive text messages.
Does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know how to solve this?
I tried turning the sleep mode off, increasing the time for the phone and light time outs but still nothing. I already formatted the phone, changed SIM AND MEMORY CARD, BUT STILL THE SAME.
Please help!!!

Always when you buy a new phone you should load the battery for a longer time than usual to get the most out of the battery in the future.

Forget to mention, N73 has got the LOUDEST music among so many of their N-series phones. As for other Nokia phones, I'm unsure if it is also producing the loudest music. However, Sony Ericsson K800i, as of 2006, is still the BEST in the handphone market so far. With great features and functions that doesn't hang easily as it's not using Symbian platform yet.

N73 hangs alot coz my friend who is the owner of this phone complained that it often hangs and sometimes it can auto switch off and restarts the system itself. This is due to its platform used - Symbian software. But the screen & camera is as good as Sony Ericsson K800i and the 3G games are fun.

I thought only me being so fussy about the phone. The firmware problem will kill "Nokia" brand name, if "they" do not act fast.
The irritation is worse when I seek consultation from Nokia support centre and the cold answer given was, You wait la, new firmware will be released. But I do not know when.
Oh my god. I spend up my saving for a total crap device.

all the symbian phones and s60 3rd edition symbian phones operates things very slow.. pls upgrade your programme if nokia engineers are reading this.. if u all cannot afford to come out with a symbian phones who run smoothly pls dun waste our money. i pay 2k for this!!

i have bought thye n 73 just a few weeks back....the camera is very good....its flash gives prity bright pics even in the dark...the audio quality is definetly better than k790i.....then main draw backs r takes time to open files...keypad is a bit cramp.....and time lag in taking the pic is too much....

Hey guys just wanna check out?? which phone is worth N73 or N80??
N80 is build in with wi-fi but N73 with good quality lens which one is more worth??
Is video capturing for N80 better than N73??

n73 is having problems.. its the phone for ppls out there who like visiting the "nokia care centre" blame symbian... auto shutdown, lcd goes blank, calls not in.. k800 is a better choice!
