I have tried the n 73 from my friend
it's awesome. it doesn't hang, eventhough filled with 1GB memory.
rocks on nokia
you have solda great phone.
the sound quality is good, loud, and 3d surround speaker.
the battery can hold on for 3 days.

Guys, I just want to ask those who have got N73, what's the size of the memory card which comes with it? I'm not talking about the internal memorycard, I'm talking about the one that comes with the package.
And one more thing, most of those who got it, say that it has a loud double speaker, but is the sound very clear?
And third question, which is better, the normal N73 or the music edition one? And what are the differences between both? Thank you.

Like I said to Adi.
For sound quality (via earset),I advise you to listen it by yourself (maybe from your friends or in stores),because we have individually taste.Some people like the sound producing by Nokia, but other people like the sound from SE.
For external speaker is different,N73 has 2 external speaker while K800 has only one. N73 speaker may louder.
For me louder is not always better quality.I like not to loud but soft sound in my ear.
Maybe birdy can help you, because he has tried N73 and K800.

i have had a nokia n73 and i got the k800i about 5 weeks ago now and the reason i changed to the ericsson was i went through 3 n73 phones cus of the joystick, one had a faulty volume button and the other because of the joystick. the k800i is brilliant havnt had a prob once with it. joystick on the k800i is supurb so get the k800i. serously the n73 is rubbish the only good things about it are the screen and the volume. the k800i has got a better cam and the flash on the k800i is out of this world. all the way ericsson.

Someone mentioned anti virus built in the N73. If you download a file it would scan for virus? How does the phone inform you, via a pop up window?

Can i ask how to switch the n73 to camera because evrytime i poen the camera it shows video camera i just wanna ask how to switch it to camera and make it as a default.

Its ben 40 days since i got da phone,this is undoubtedly the best set from every perspective.ihave changed my mobiles about 25 times now,made huge losses .my father asked me to buy one for the last time and boy i am happy with it.even one of my friends has a n93 but he also regrets taking it because of its massive size.ihave used the phone wisely and it has no problems at all.also i would reuest sam if he has any information on the music edition.thanx in advance.

After searching info for this fone I find its very good unlike ny N80 for msging it S..Ks.....So i bought this fone on sunday ....BUT last night it Give me problem...After i send a SMS it Juz HANG all the way...so i took it the battery out and out back it can be on but STILL HANG at the NOKIA wording....Wah I really had no comments for this model...I do REGRET it

Hi San could you please help me. I've bought N73 for more then 1 weeks. Can you tell me how to transfer all the contacts from my old Nokia N70 to N73. Since all the program from old symbian cannot run at 3rd symbian. If i use PC suite, to backup N70 and restore to N73, it can't transfer perfectly. I've more then 700 contacts with a lot of details. But sometimes i edited the label. PC Suite can't transfer all the detail which was the label already edited. If i backup my contact at N70 to memory card and restore at N73, will it be transfer perfectly? Or do you have any other solution for me?
Note if i transfer a contact with a detail which is already edited by a bluetooth will reset all the label to telephone.
Do you have a lagging experience? When i open a contact specially with a lot of detail. It will lag about 3 - 5 secs until it's showing the detail. Same if i tried to edit the contact and i want to press ok, it'll lag about 3 - 5 secs.
Sometimes when i open a picture at the gallery, Images & Video and i want to zoom the file, there was an error and it said that is memory full & close the application. I have to restart the hp to fix that. Do you have any experience with your N73? Do u know how to fix it?
Note it still happen even i already turn the active stand by off sometimes.
My oppinion about the N73
This is 1 of the best Nokia phone if all the problem that i mention above is already solved.
Lost the cover of camera i think it wont happen if u treat it properly. I think it even more solid then N70.
The quality of the camera it really fantastic. I compare with N70 with the same object. N73 shows a really natural colour and it takes almost the same with the real situation. it's tolerated. And the screen compare to N70 it's a huge different class of quality screen.

im looking to upgrade my fone to the nokia n73 or even the k800i. ppl hoo hav used both could u tell me wat one is better. i really like the n73 coz its got a bbigger screen...would you say that the smaller screen is too small on the SE.
TO PPL WHO HAV USED THE N73 FOR A LONG TIME:
just to make things clear could you tell me wats witht the this whole cam. lense coming loose. could you tell me if its really that bad.
im really sick of phones that are slow sso could you tell me it this is too slow. like wen u open the menu does it take long to load.
wat is autofocus? does this help in anyway
wats with the joystik. would u recomend it and does it go off centre.

1-Yes you do have them already installed, not sure about anti virus but mostly yes.i got mine as I gift you know and I got everything installed with a 1GB of memory card so I didn’t get normal one but I saw my friend’s N73 and yes I think they come with it.
2-SURE you can download themes but I am sorry I cant recommend any website cause I don’t download any, I just go to NOKIA shops in my area and I let them update me with the latest cool themes, I don’t know but I guess I don’t trust internet that must.
3-NO the N73 doesn’t have WiFi.
4-the phone is perfectly solid and stable, camera cover is GREAT and it hasn’t gone loose, and it won’t as long as you use it normally. The body of the phone is made of great plastic and you can tell from the moment you touch it, front plastic is good I would say and joystick is great, everything else is working fine and without any problems.
WHICH IS BETTER N80 OR N73??
Same thing people ask almost everyday, and the same thing I will say again…
A Cell phone should be bought according to you’re needs,now what do you need in a cell phone??

LOLz,you must be kidding me.i'm really starting to wonder if you have the N73 or NOT in 1st place,or maybe its you're 1st handset so you dont know how fast it is when compared to N70,N90,N80,N72,N91.
I have used all of above and i find the N73 the faster,not to mention that i have and use both N80 and N73 NOWadays and i can really see that N73 is faster when it comes to speed.
finally & its mentioned in the review its self,N73 is the best handset tested in the office yet from all the past 200 handsets,speed is one of these things by theway.

Bought it and it's a great phone, better than my N70 some how doesn't hang like it. The pictures it takes are great and the sound quality is sweet. I highly recommend it. MrMan a new firmware was released already for the phone but doesn't do alot cuz not many problems with the phone to start with.
