Nokia N76 - user opinions and reviews

Nokia

The design looks copyied from the Benq-Siemens EF81 , even the orientation of the 2nd screen and MP3 buttons .

somehow i think motorola v3 maxx looks much cooler and really does accentuate its slim factor better. my god the hinge on this thing looks abit too bulky for my liking.

What's this about Motorola is better/Nokia is better? Each phone is good in some way. I saw a post..."same stuff, new design...boring". I'm sorry for you dude, It's a PHONE. You use it mainly to call people. I'm glad that nokia has finally a thin flip. And the camera? Not interested. I have 2 digital ones. And one on my current phone, and I can't say that I use the one on the phone. I'm happy about the FM radio, and the mp3. So....anyone knows when it will be available in US? T-Mob maibe???

Just wanna say...

can u guys stop comparing this phone to the Motorola v3... that was like back in '03/04. Instead compare it to the Razr Maxx v6... even thats hard cos the Motorola ain't a smartphone so they should not be compared...but havin used the Maxx... and from experience with the N80... i cant see what this phone will have over the Maxx except maybe able to read Word, Excel(which most people never actually do) and stuff which the Maxx is not even trying to do... if they did i'm sure they can cos Motorola got smartphones too.

Instead compare on things which are similar in both i.e build quality, camera quality ( i know some will wanna diss Motorola without any previous use of the razr maxx camera... for those of u that are gonna do this ur comments will be as good as useless so dont bother)... also speed and response of User Interface, stability of software, price and what u get for ur money, durability, ease of use etc...

So come on guy's... it's 2007 so lets end all this teenager wars and grow da 'ell up!

Holla...

I like the number(76)but i expect MORE...like 3.2Mp cam and CIF video.another thing if its a music fone it should have more battery power...it looks like we are paying for the design but its not something new...the RAZR got it first...and thin/slim fone tend to look fragile...i love rugged fone...i dot get worried with scratches, thumb prints, water or accident fall.its for regular evryday usage.no offence nokia.PEACE.

at least that tank of nokia can bomb your lousy motorola.. copy? hmm, it's true that it looks like motorola's v3.. but the funtion inside v3 cant be copy by nokia cause nokia's funtion is much much better.

ppl, pls b civilise here.
no need to critise nokia/motorola
both r good in their own ways.
actually, i did thought of getting the motorola v6 maxx, but it has been months after it has been available in other countries, yet not arrived in singapore yet.
Now, Nokia N76's out n i'm definitely gonna take tis rather den V6 as tis's has the fm radio. But V6 is good, i like the mp4.
Anyway, jus like any1 of u who like the Nokia N76, take a look at the video, it was love @ 1st sight 4 mi. http://techdigest.tv/2007/01/c...nokia_4.html

the cdma RAZR maxx for the americas has 2mp autofocus camera.

http://www.engadget.com/2006/1...torazr-maxx/

and the n76 doesn't have an autofocus camera at all you twit.

face the facts nokia fanboys. you hate RAZR for years, criticize its looks, say it's fragile and you don't like the lip at the bottom. you don't like the flat keypad for lack of tactile feedback. now what does nokia do? COPY THE SAME THING ALMOST THREE YEARS LATER! now you're forced to defend it like hypocrites.

a sad day for nokia fanboys when your beloved savior throws in the towel and follows behind moto with an uglier phone that lacks any kind of originality.

Looks like RAZR. but looks more fat than razr...and where's the camera?

whats wrong with the nokia design? cant think smarter than copycat the motorola design? oh come on nokia....

you doesnt look like a leader if you do this...copy cat is not a behavior of the market leader..market leader should be the pioneer, not a follower....

Motorola Police, interface has changed in your beloved motorola, but just find some sites where it offers as much themes and applications as NOkia and SE offer, and oh also, don't dare to challenge W800i camera by only stating your opinion, just post some pictures and let us know if you are saying the truth. anyways it's impossible for motorola to defeat the reighning 2mp king as it has no autofocus, autofocus has much advantage as fixed focus! see esato.com and open up your mind!

slimmed version of 6290 IMO, with 3.5mm jack instead of the 2.5mm on the 6290... WHY NOKIA?!
