This m0bile is really cool n i hav had a chance to chk it out for a day. First of all the camera is da best of 3.2 pega pixel ph0nes(except for n93i). Sec0ndly, its music quality is perfect for a music l0ver but the sound loudness isnt much satisfying. 3rdly the fm transmitter is really c0ol but the range is n0t much(plz d0nt shake the m0bile when using the applicati0n). 4thly n last of all u'll love the new interface fp2 which is m0st significant feature of dis cell ph0ne. H0pe to buy it s0on when da prices l0wer.

I'm looking to upgrade to this N78 due to its' WiFi, 3.2mp af Camera and more memory. Plus some other new stuff like fm transmitter.

Mobile review also said the same thing (but n96 has more bass than n95 8gb). So im not sure what the nokia manager meant (maybe he meant the n96 has a better hardware and software, but has low volume).

N91,N81 and n78 has the best audio quality among all Nokia phones not even N96 can match them ;)

i got my set for about 2 days now. i find the software still buggy.

Some calls came in with no name, i though that there might be double entries which cause it to fail to display names. Upon checking further, I realised the PC Sync have added one space after the telephone number, thus when calls came in, it cannot match name or photo.

I switched off the camera flash but when taking photo, the flash still turn on ! I created Group in Contacts and give it a name, but it say No Name, after rebooting the phone, the group name came out. Strange.

The stereo speaker is weak, N95 is still the best. However, when plug in a good quality headphone, the sound system is very good.

Oh, Lifeblog is no longer that, now replaced with Nokia Photos. Which I dont like because now I cannot link my blog to Livejournal, I have to make use with Flickr now, sad.

The D-Pad seem to be touch-sensitive, I'm always sliding to the wrong icon to select.

I really like the new BIG PHOTO CALLER ID.

Otherwise, I still prefer the N82 over this.

What I don't like about N78 is it doesn't have at least 8GB of internal storage. When I buy phones I don't like to spend extra money on memory cards. I want it in complete package already just like my N81 8GB. If only the frame rate of video was increased to 30fps, it would've been a la N93, same with 3.2mp camera & vga video. Even though it has all the goodies, i still don't like it. It looks like a cheap version of N81 and N96, based on the looks. The features are great, but I just don't like the look. It's cheap. I guess it's because it belongs to the N7x line, which means it won't be my next phone. The N82 is more good looking, even in black or white casing.

According to Nokia's product manager, all high and mid-end Nokia handsets starting N78 will have the same audio chip as N91. And according to that guy, N96 has better audio quality than N91. So it only means that N96 has the best audio quality among all Nokia phones. N78 has better audio quality than N81. I'm not just sure if it's the same audio quality as N96. N96 right now is the most powerful multimedia computer in all terms!

I saw it in a shop.Tryed it and used it for 5 mins.I could not even get my eyes out of the functions and i dint even wanted to give the mobile back to the shoper.I will sell my n73 me and buy it
