could Nokia N78 users tell me if it lags or if it is buggy or something else because i'm in two minds wether i should buy Nokia N78 or SonyEricsson C901

Iam Having a problem with my N78. On its deskstop, a msg icon is continuesly "blinking" but when i open the INBOX there are n0 new messages, i even deleted the whole INBOX but still suffering from the same problem.
When i inserted another sim of different network, nothing such happened. Can any b0dy please tell me what should i do to get rid of this problem?
