yes like he said this phone is the best n series!!
so we bought it, stop complaining about it, i have been using for about 2 weeks...
the keypad is perfect, the right keys are not hard to use at all
the navi wheel is so soft to press on unlike at all n81
about the antenna, it works very well
the radio transmitter works about 2m in range so if u were in a car it will works perfectly!!!
and it never lag unless if ran out of battery
it wont never be viruses , just install the KMS 7.035and let scan and about the liscence just type
AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAAA-AAAA3 and it will give u 30 days EVERYTIME!!!!
and the photos, the album thing is very great!!!
the web is great!!! but does any1 how to open multiply tabs???
the headset sound is just like iPod and better in BASS
i think this is the best!! except for the gaming keys



SO WOULD SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO INSTALL UNSIGNED APPS

btw, i like the design of n78. it's more good looking in the actual than in pictures.

hi, im a guy.. my bestfriend has an n81, he gave it to me.. i love my bestfriend so much he is like a brother to me.. btw, gaming xperience in n81 and n78 are not the same... Software-wise they may be equal... but the gaming keys in n81 does make a difference..

well its looks r ok but performance wise it is a big no no. picture quality is satisfactory and the anteena is placed at a wrong place i m not happy buying it. go for n70 insted.

Would everyone shut up and stop complaining about this phone. We've bought it. We're stuck with it. The keypad's not the best for ppl like me that text a lot. Right soft key and end key are not easy to use. But otherwise the phone has an all round better performance than most nseries. It sports the latest improvements in nseries. Interface is excellent.
Now lets concentrate on how we can help each other improve its use and get the best out of this situation we find ourselves.

In gallery picture folder, is it possible to create subfolders to categorise and store pictures like you have in cheaper symbian nokias like 5700 & 6120? Can anyone answer this?

Can someone please explain how new firmware will improve the loudspeaker, because the chipset and speakers are all hardware and can not be changed. What does the firmware then do with thd hardware?

there is no prob with the loudspeaker, just download the last firmware 12
and turn off the sound widnening and make the volumd at 90% as maximum.
And would some1 plz tell me about how 2 install unsigned apps on n78???????

Are you sure that new Firmware release will resolve N78 Loudspeaker problem?
I have N78 and my Loudspeaker doesn't work at all :-(

i agree with the left selection key and the call end key.Really find it hard to press due to the media key.
And the speaker of this phone is sux. Dont too worry abt the speaker coz once a new firware is released then the problem of the speaker can be resolve.
Fm trasmitter has weak signal.The antenna is stick with the back cover with glue.Easy drop by just scratch it.

This n78s loudspeakers suck. I tested it at the shop, and my 6233 beats it with loudness, quality and bass. Even the n81 does a better job. I would like advise, i love a phone that has good loudspeakers and camera, the n78 and n81 has its strong points and weak points. What phone should i buy that has both, except the n82.

I completely agree. N78 is more good-looking than N82. Internet photos just don't make justice.

I don't know about others being haters but I love the design of this phone. IMHO I think this is much better looking than the N82 cause N82 looks like it's made out of cheap materials. Just my 2 cents.

The left selection key and the end call key is extremely hard to type,u dont even know which key have you attempted.
And the navigation key as well,navigation key up and navigation selection key is extremely hard to use also,which mean u will accidently press select when actually pressing the navigation key up.
Feel disappointed on it.

Its nice but the keypad is not that friendly.
By the way from now on, most nokia's will be made (assembled) in China.
