hey guys , i really am in a need for a reply here ...

main use of this phone for me is songs and vids i am gonna ful the memcrd which is 8gb . can u suggest me if it stands up to that and it wont hang sort of ... lemme know .
or shuld i go for some other fone u would like to suggest ...

it's a great phone but what annoyed me is that the key at the left of the green call button, the vertical one i think its called the navigation or short cut key, fell off.. it happened twice the first time i returned the unit to replace it with a new one but eventually the second unit's navigation key fell off. the worst thing is that i can't find the key so that i can stick it back.. now it looks ugly damn.. and they don't sell keypads for n79 here just my luck

Hie members of this foram, can anybody help me, i have a strange problem, actually i am a low-vision user, and i use a talking software namely "talks" which reads out and narrate what ever is displayed upon the screen of the phone, actually i restored my all original phone settings, by applying the code of 7370, than after doing so when i am installing this software than it is not narrating in its own sinthesiser but its speeking in by-default sound which is already in the phone saved in speech section, so i want to know that why its happening and what i can do for restoring its original sinthesiser sound if anybody can help me than plz tell me,

how much useful is the 50 mb internal memory of nokia n79 in surfing web. is it enough ?or i will suffer undesired message (memory full close some application first). waiting ur answers if u please

For the lighting condition some time the camera can capture blurry image if u do not activate autofocus by half pressing the shutter key. After that half press, autofocus activate and then u press the shutter key in full(hard press until u heared the shutter sound . Thus u can have a good picture in n79.

Indian users who are looking for the latest firmware version for their N79 must update the firmware via the OTA option. The NSU will display v11 only. But if you choose update via OTA you will be able to download and install the latest v31 firmware for your phone.

Trust me, the phone is much better with this new firmware ..

I upon the advice of nokia customer care upon a problem of hanging the phone i wrongly applyed the code of formatting, but I was not aware that i may loss my all data, but consequently i found phone free of all games and this oxford dictionary, I m very upset, I lost all of my games and more some applications are not being installed now, so there is no way that how u can retain ur all data, but there is Nokia recomended website "www.store.ovi.com" where first of all creat ur account for free and than it after ur phone selection will show the all compatable applications to ur hendset, from there u can send the required link of the application and after all u will have to install and download that application from ur phone using web or gprs, so try it, ok Allah Hafiz

I am a holder of N79 phone. When the formatting due to the virus attck, some of the features have been lost. Oxford dictionary and other some files have missed. How can it retain,

Hey can ne n79 user tell me how i can use the fones led as a torch?? witout having to start the camera n record a video... i used an application called torch and another one, whose name i forgot, both simply turned on the red-eye reduction light in the led n not the led itself...

Some advantage to use a phone like n79- for entertainment 1.sweet sound quality through headphone by ur own headset . U can play various format like mp3,wma etc. it sounds cool even in its stereo speaker also. Don't complain about low volume, cause it has only a pair of small speakers which fit in such a small device, but giving u crisp sound quality. 2. u can record 30 fps-frame per second video in vga resoulation, which means u can have smooth movement of ur motion in a great size which u can see in ur 21 inches tv as like as u see a vcd. 3. U can make great still with its 5 mp camera in daytime or at night with some good lighing conditions. but dont forget to press autofocus first( half press the shutter key ). For accounting- buy flying money software. put ur daily expences and deposit here in flying money programe. U never need to memorize any transaction. For other works - 1. in HANDY SAFE u can have ur confidential data like ur credit card no,atm pin no,etc. 2. If u r a musician then u can install a gtr tuner. I AM FED UP OF TYPING NOW. next time see u guys. BE HAPPY WITH UR N79.
