Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010I see, yea its clearly stated there the user storage is 135mb.
But where or which part show... morePls read the review for N97 that encounter lack of internal memory issue.
Below which i quote it out from the link above.
Now this wont be a problem if you dont want to download and Install N-gage, or Nokia Messaging, or Ovi Contacts or the new awesome Ovi Maps v3 on your N97. The N97 also comes with all of its Widgets pre-installed on its (d’oh) phone memory. So one way to free up phone memory would be to uninstall these widgets, then hunt for the installation files for these widgets on the Ovi Store, then re-install them to the 32GB Drive.
But geez, why make us go through all the trouble ? Would it really have hurt to have atleast 100mb of phone memory on the N97 ? Come on Nokia.
Gsm Arena list DivX and Xvid as features of N8 while Eldar Murtzain of Mobile Review say N8 does not have this features. Now guys, who is actualy correct here?
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010Only 135 MB of memory??? N8 will be an epic fail..Read the spec clearly pal.
135mb memory yes!
But N8 also have 16GB of internal mass storage and support up to 32GB memory card.

It stated clearly the internal memory for OS... moreI see, yea its clearly stated there the user storage is 135mb.
But where or which part show that some apps must be install in the user storage and cannot install in the internal mass storage of 16gb? Please advise.
My Samsung Innov8 also have a small portion of user memory even lesser than 135mb. But i can install everything in the internal mass storage of 8gb. So far there is not problem at all.
[deleted post]Actully in many cases the phone refuses to power-off until u remove the battery.
Are you saying u already have the manual for the N8?
lots of ignorant people want voip, skype and youtube in their device why?
u cant afford to buy a pc with internet?

This is undoubtfully an amazing device, just wanted to know as the battery is inside the phone casing and can only be taken out by opening the side screws. The best part is if you open the screw to take out battery warranty of your equipment voids... so when most of the symbian phone freezes and the only way to restart the phone is taking battery then what we will be doing ????????????????????????
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010Only 135 MB of memory??? N8 will be an epic fail..unwelcome intrusion ...te he he he...
i like n8, hardwarewise but software? hmm i dont think so, i have n97 and i hated that piece of junk, for me symbian is symbian no matter what version, no offense guys..
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2010The camera lens is highly scratch resistance according to Damian Dinning.
How do you get in... moreCheck this link out. Official spec from nokia.
It stated clearly the internal memory for OS and some application that a must to install in C: with only 135mb available.
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010@niraj- dude, i accept your invitation, i grant you an oppertunity... now would you please exp... moreThe main problem with any symbian device is basically slowness, low Ram and low C drive storage.. Technically with symbian^3 most of the bugs are gone. Symbian^3 support virtual memory (also known as swap memory or paging), symbian^3 is heavily gpu accelerated and runs more on gpu rather than cpu.. There is 135 mb C drive space on N8, I cant comment on it before getting hands on it.
Anonymous, 04 Jul 2010why should nokia upgrade?here are lots of nokia FANS who are ready to buy without all those...... moreYou are just jealous on this comment.. Nokia fan loves Nokia because they continuously support every phone.. N97 was failure but other phone based on symbian^1 like X6, 5530 etc were not failure.. Nokia even supports their mid range s40 phones. 2700c, 5130xm, 6303 all have got many firmware updates.. With each update Nokia makes services better and even better..
