fred, 18 Sep 2011hi mr Ray, i need ur advice here. I am plannin to bye nokia 701 battery (BL-5F 1300mah) as a r... more@Fred
The Nokia C7 takes a BL-5K not a BL-5F. The BL-5F is only rated at 950 mAh, whereas the BL-5K is rated at 1200 mAh for current devices and 1300 mAh for the 701. I see no reason why the 1300 mAh battery shouldn't be compatible with the C7, as long as it is physically the same size and actually fits inside the C7 and allows the case to be replaced.
So, whatever you decide, make sure it is the BL-5K (not the BL-5F) and that it actually physically fits your phone.
All the best.
It has been 7 months since i bought my n8. Now it is Anna powered, even though the firmware hasn't officially released in country/operator.
As a loyal Nokia user in the last years, no surprise was expected. And at first that was the case, but it works so fine, there are so many apps, and the photos are so extremely good that there is no phone to replace it yet for me. No N9 or Samsung SII are at its level. It has proven to be the most flexible and adaptable phone Nokia has made in the last 3 years.
There are better CPUs, better OS, no better camera and no better balance than this device.

To me the LG Optimus P970 is a bit of a clone of the Samsung Galaxy S. As far as an Android device goes, it doesn't look too bad (on paper at least) but my experience with LG products (a TV and DVD recorder, both of them failed just out of warranty) isn't a good one. As a result, I wouldn't recommend anything made by LG to anyone.
Comparing the LG to the N8, I would still choose the N8 because of the features I listed in my previous post.
Hope this helps.
[deleted post]its better you buy sony ericsson xperia pro . it is phone of full features with keyboard

nokia n8 is not a full flag ship device . it has some major issues . they will be top if they release a mobile on this specs that is full casing alumin body, 1ghz processor, 1gbram , 8mp camera , and move on with maemo soft with tegra 2 chipset. a front facing 2mp camera , a full 5 row functional keyboard. 4" ips lcd screen , with 32gb internal memory .

Just like how the Nokia n900 have been discontinued.
N8 is the Best! no hustle in terms of connectivity, entertainment, and Usability! nice build, Very handy even though with a pretty big screen. no more software needed, just plug it then play it And Charging at the Same time!! No more Conversions of files, almost all kinds of codecs can be played! Battery is not The Best but i am Satisfied.
My Recent phone is a Samsung.. i Cant Connect it to my Desktop Even in my Laptop Because i cant install the Pc suite! All i have to do is to customize my SD card which is Under The battery cover! Very hustle!
I sold it for almost 1/4 of Original price which is very expensive! I have a really bad time with Samsung..
Also with I phone... I do not have the long temper of converting and converting and converting My music and Video Files..
Well all I can say is..
SIMPLY N8 :))

I happen to have both and can say that neither phone is better than the other. The N8 has some features and functions that the SGS does not, and vice versa.
The N8 has the best camera on any phone, HDMI output, an FM transmitter, lock screen screen savers, a notification LED, an all Aluminium uni-body, customisable and timed profile settings and USB-on-the-Go. The Samsung Galaxy S doesn't have any of those things but does have more applications available, a bigger screen, more system RAM and a faster processor for better performance, a better default web browser, live home screen wall papers (if you like that sort of thing) and a simpler to use OS (which to me means it's less advanced than Symbian but also less buggy).
So, based on what I've just listed, it's all down to personal choice of what you really want in a phone.
All the best.
