bt when i record the video in the dark it doesnt give good result as very less was seen in the video recorded in dark as i have another one which is nokia x6 in which u can on the flash and the recoded video with that is very clear rather then n8
can there be any solution for that

i just set my brightness to medium from full and man,my n8 is solid purple ..lolz... but when the screen becomes bright due to light sensor ,tint is decreased...
will wait till end of may and if no progress is made by nokia then its GS2 for me..
can we use the bluethoot of any mobile as a bluetooth adapter or dongle for pc just like as we use mobile phone as a modem for pc
garry, 07 Apr 2011if its true then there is no way to change driver chip bcoz its high time now ....forget about... more1)my lcd screen was changed 2 times..and my original lcd,the 2nd and the 3rd lcd showed different levels of intensity of tint...
2)the replacement unit i got is just 43mins old and brand new.but the tint in it is horrible than my original phone.
3)care guy has assured that when the 3rd batch of defect free lcds come they will intimate me.
4)rest assured that once the n8 is opened,be prepared for rear side damaged panel coz of care guys prying the panel out.
5)i am in dilemma as to sell this n8 and take the galaxy s2 or retain this phone coz of the camera..(though i can always get a DSLR).. will wait till may or june and see if any updates will solve this issue.otherwise will sell it and shift to GS2.

Sir,I bought a Nokia n8 black colour (imei : 352684041301651) from Nokia care centre at the end of October 2010.I have noticed the purple tint issue which is discussed and present world wide and also acknowledge by Nokia itself on march 1st week.I gave the phone to Mobi quest Nokia care centre (ph.no 40034272,9848298600) for repair on march 16th and my 1st job sheet number was 302465550/110316/7.initially they have tried to convince me that it's a 'design' and all n8 phones have it but me being an electronics and communication engineer stood by the fact that it's an issue with the device.They took the device to send it to Delhi for repair or replacement and I got back my n8 on march 23rd.The purple issue was still present and moreover the phone was scratched.The mobiquest Nokia care changed another LCD then and there but the purple tint issue still persisted and also the rear panel of the phone was now filled with scratches permanent damage.I rejected the phone and asked for a replacement.They again tried to convince me that it was a design parallely acknowledging that its the companys fault as well as the device's.I even showed my friends new n8 where the phone was perfect with no issues. I was then given a new job sheet number (110316/7) .I was told later that the company is replacing my n8.On 31st of march I went to care centre again to receive a White n8 but it was full of scratches on the screen and the rear panel shows clear indications that it has been opened.I rejected the replacement phone requesting a new black one.Till date I have not received the phone.
Is this how a loyal Nokia customer since 2004 gets treated? Why should I suffer at a loss for the company's fault? Mine is a scratchless 4 month old new phone and I expect a new phone as a replacement.I am getting emotionally disturbed by this incident and not able to use the phone since many weeks.I request the proper authorities to take concerned actions and serve justice.Thank you
and i got a brand new 45mins used black n8 with all the plastic coverings at the back and screen guard on the screen and extended warranty upto feb 2012...but the thing still has that tint issue...anyways its better to have the phone and sell it later than to have nothing or a damaged phone ..
nokia repeats the hanging n software complaint with this phone also....i am saying this rm my own exprince..be carefull to loose ur valuable money...again repeats nokia is having the same hanging n software complaint on this huge phone too....i think its high time to leave the base of nokia frm india..nokia care is fed up o this huge sotware n hanging complaints..wit all phones...pls take this advice seriously.......

bt they said unable to do so...
i having this dam issue after i upgrade the SW...
i think they have replaced defect unit with defect 1...
nokia plz open your eyes... care 4 ur customers.. don simply make so many defect units juz 4 ur profit...
Did you guys here about the N8 successor? Its going to have a 4" 960x540 qHD AMOLED display CBD tech, a 1ghz processor(probably dual-core)the same 12mp camera, but with True Zoom(acdvanced AF), 1GB ram, and stereo speakers...Cant wait!
But whats more exciting, is that it will arrive with the revamped Symbian 3, with Android App support! (Android supports Qt)
