Dipto, 16 Mar 2011And by the way for many days i have remained silent n reading comments on the reddish purple i... morethe purple is visible everywhere where certain gray gradients are displayed. if you can not see it apart from the clock, that means you do not have any photos/videos which contains those shade of gray. maybe you are happy with whatever color the screen is producing, but I am not, as comparing a faulty screen with a good one clearly shows that the good screen has better colors.
or you are blindly supporting Nokia because you too are a victim of purple screen but you dont wanna admit that you dumbed yourself by spending so much money on a faulty device. haha.
please help?i can see how many pics i have captured..but i cant see where are these pics...they are not in my photos folder, does anyone know where can i find them?please help?
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2011Hi everyone
I just want to say that to me one of the main reasons i bought the N8... moreWell Dear Sir...
you should buy a Camera for its camera not a hand phone for its camera. what ever comes with a handphone is a bonus for the big or low price you paid for it...
buy a phone for its camera? maybe you'll overcharged for it and got frustrated for it
i see comments about screen problems and restarting, i have the phone, and never seen any of these claimed problems. its a great phone maybe the system is not sleek as the i phone but the GPS and the camera are the best, i even stopped using my sony 14MP cuz the pics of the N8 have better quality when you view them on a PC.
stalker, 16 Mar 2011guys, has the purple screen problem with this phone been resolved? I want to buy C7 but becaus... moreas of now no one can say how to resolved this problem, even nokia finland and nokia care they dont know how to fix this, and no one can know where is the major problem, i guess is not in screen problem, its a driver chips problem, according to eldar 2nd batch of nokia n8 the driver chips is change its own nokia driver chips than the original driver chips of amoled... In short For those who have no reddish issue the driver chips and amoled are same manufacturer of samsung, and the 2nd batch of n8 nokia buy to samung only amoled screen not included the driver and chips of amoled, this is a mistake of nokia, Nokia driver chips and samung amoled not compatible 2nd batch, 1st batch is much compatible because driver chips not change.....
Dipto, 16 Mar 2011if u r not then u dnt own an n8.... by the way i did own a satio even if adkane didnt coz i'm ... morewell to me the satio had a bigger zoom .i was in the country the other day and had both phones with me i was taking pictures of on coming vehicles and trucks
as they were speeding past ,took pictures with both phones, got back home loaded on the computer, as i zoomed in on different features of the vehicles tge satio pictures were far clearer than the N8 pictures
the N8 was distinctly blurred as you zoomed in closer
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2011no i am not joking do you own a satio to be even able to comment if u r not then u dnt own an n8.... by the way i did own a satio even if adkane didnt coz i'm camera crazy among mobiles...hard luck kid be happy with ur satio snaps we have no objections
And by the way for many days i have remained silent n reading comments on the reddish purple issue... hey guys i myself have the problem... those who r saying videos photos games all get purplish r talking all nonsense... there is no other prob except the analog clock going purple halfway... even if u have issues check avatar game on ur screen with a screen that has got no issues... u shud get perfect blue in both... n for that matter just open up ur menu the black remains black n not reddish...its not a hardware issue its just the driver coding error... so stop speaking nonsense those who are spreading here... check the avatar game for ur assurance i myself have done it n posting relevant facts for u guys to try out... the issue doesnt hamper photos videos or games like others are saying i'm repeating again... dont know y people are just waiting for an issue about n8 n start bashing it
I just want to say that to me one of the main reasons i bought the N8 was for its camera. I had read countless reviews on it and all seemeed really good.previous to yhis phone i had a sony ericsson Satio and although that had its own problems
i believe after comparing the 2 camera wise i think Satio had a better camera, i have taken the same shots with both phones and have loaded them on my computer and Satio shots seem to be clearer time after
time, i wonder if all the hype about 12 megapixel was all jusgood marketing because to date i believe this phone camera wise is not as good as what they have made it out to be. i wonder if others feel the same way ?
guys, has the purple screen problem with this phone been resolved? I want to buy C7 but because of that problem which is common to N8 and C7, it makes me think otherwise.
Ah! By the way, for those not aware of the problem, try searching for it in the net. Its been a topic of several forums.. :-)
I think it should be pointed out about the sealed in battery! Very disappointing when you need to re-boot the N8! No can do!!
