Could somebody tell me if there is a PDF reader software for Nokia N80?
I have this phone since last week and I think
it is simply great! Except for the lack of PDF reader I can not mention any serious shortcoming!
what u on about? QUOTE: ITS ONLY 3.2 MEGA PIXELS WEN DOWNLOADING TO PC? wtf, if u dnt know what ur talkin about then dnt, n80 stores pic on handset in 3.2 mp size so pc has NOTHING to do with pics being 3.2 mp! as for the k800i, lol it mite have a slightly better cam but what else does it have???? NOTHING, not a patch on the n80! so stop moaning, get ur facts rite and go and annoy the SE boys with ur talk!
Can anyone PLS tell me whether you can put any kind of locks on this phone for instance: on some folders or pictures, or on your messages, or phonebook etc. ????? Does it have any locks ?
I have a question regarding to N80 software. I saw some people sale a software for N80 on ebay which have theme, wallpaper, screen saver etc.. Do you think it good to buy? Also if N80 doesnt have screen saver then how can the program will work...Thanks for your help....

Had it for 3 weeks, mainly extremely good functionality APART from the truly comical voice recognition software which I believe just randomly guesses at contacts to call, does anyone know of a way to record your own voice tabs? Bluetooth connection was a bit iffy at first ( got the new Nokia BH-800 with it ) but has settled down although Im not sure when the little blue light should be flashing or not ( again appears random! )
Beware pressure on the screen it cracks easily by the by ( broke mine by having it in a Sony Ericsson case with a metal popper opener with a tiny drop on the floor applying popper pressure on screen :-
No go on buy it n80 rocks beleive me i have it 3.2 mp camera great but now i want to buy n83

yay free themes thank you.
one thing those having problems with memory read the manual. if you still having problems take it to nokia care or where u bought itand they will explain you how to use the phone or fix it (change it) if you have problems with them.
i just got n 80 today and it is perfect in everything
but i found it is alil hard to write a msg
in the keyboard coz its hard to press the latters
I just got an N80 today and I'm already having problems. When I first turned Bluetooth on in order to transfer the contacts from my old phone, it just froze up. I pressed buttons and it beeped when I pressed them, but did nothing. I ended up having to take the battery out.
Now, the music player won't work. Well, it works if I open the mp3s by going to gallery > tracks, but if I go straight to music player, it brings up a red exclamation mark and says "General: system error".
Can anyone tell me why this may be? Argh. I've got this phone for another 18 months!!
While trying to perform a phone mem backup on the SD card i get an error msg that mem is too low and i should close other apps and retry.Phone mem shows 16MB free and 31MB used.SD shows 480MB free and 496MB used. Also when performing backup no other apps are running.Phone has the latest firmware(V3.0617.0.6 RM-92).Anyone got an idea how to solve the problem?
"Over two months Nokia N80 was bearing the burden of my main handset (I always use two phones at a time, one of which is always a smartphone). And after such a lengthy period of closer examination, I can declare that the N80 didn’t manage to match the requirements of an active user, like me. As a matter of fact, now the phone will acquire a special SIM-card for testing, so that all necessary tests will be carried out as required. I can’t say that I had primarily negative experience with the handset – on the contrary, I perceived it as I would any fine-made handset. The N80 can be made use of, although not quite comfortable due to crude software, but if you can do with certain limitations, it is OK.
So, if you can’t agree with me regarding the abovementioned shortcomings, or simply don’t use those functions, this model could be what you’ve been looking for. Nevertheless if you’re coming from the latter category, wouldn’t it be better to by Nokia N70 instead? The answer can be either positive or negative, depending on your attitude to image – the N80 tops in this field, at least owing to its price. Thus, I would advice you not to run to the nearest shop and buy it, better consider all pros and cons and take a weighted decision; anyway, it’s all up to you in the end. And after arming yourself with new knowledge, it shouldn’t be hard."
Hey, someone has copied this from mobile-review.com!!!
no screensaver or smileys awh i liked them and the anomated characters you get with sony when sending sms
still a sacrifice i will make cause the phone looks lush!
