Still 35 x 41 mm display IS STILL VERY SMALL!
At least 2x that size it should be!
Why can't they invent better batteries to offer descent size displays with these phones!!!
Tiny is only nice, NOT USABLE!
And hopefully VOIP-software vendors soon offer versions fot Series60 too.
Thus Nokia's new E-series phones have VOIP-software (so cheap calls over WLAN while you're abroad in a WLAN-cafeteria for example! :)
To ALL folks ,
Cingular(in USA) uses 1900mhz(old antennas) and 850mhz(most of them and new ones) antenna signals, so therefore(from experience) ANY tri-band phone works with T-Mobile perfectly fine(t-mobile antennas are 1900 mhz frequency) and works not as good but still works with cingular!
therefore, To HAVE a BEST reception of signal you must have Quad-Band phone(for cingular users) and you will be fine if you have tri-band and T-Mobile service!
can any1 plz tell me how i check my minutes on my 02 contract n80!! plz reply urgent.
This phone just rocks big time. Photo quality is far better than any other smartphone. And for the kinda features it has it think it is pretty cheap.I use it to take pics of my embroidery and they all look so fine and detailed.

I am a N80 owner and I am verry satisfied with this masterpiece! My firmware version is V 3.0614.0.3, 11/04/2006, RM-92. Do you know if this is the latest version?
In regard to StillWaiting, Nokia N80 does not have a small display ive got the ruddy phone and it has a relatively large size screen dont knock it till u got it mate
Hi every body !
I'm living in Iran ,and I have been waiting for P990i , but when I saw the N80 , I was really shocked !!!!! it's amazing . next week I'm going to buy it .
JUST N.O.K.I.A !!!!
If only the forthcoming Nokia E70 had 3mp camera and RADIO TOO, it would be significantly more usable (qwerty-keypad!, more memory, office document edit-software vs N80 just readers, voip-phone software ...) than this model.
Unfortunately both, this N80 and E70 have same tiny display size and resolution.
DILEMMA: To buy or not to buy it as soon as it comes out!? Should i worry about firmware bugs?? Need help!
Vodafone are bloody useless.. no wonder there in financial difficulty.. how hard is it to measure demand and meet those demands.
no i can see why ppl are switching to ornage or o2. have to wait till friday to get this phone.. if it wasnt for me wanting to keep this number i would have switched to orange in a shot.
Wow cheers Fred that was extreamly helpful, its looks like a swiah phone and now cant wait to get my hands on it!
OMG! go to phonescoop to view their full review of the phone via video stream!!! It's soooooooo intensely informative plus you get the see the phone in live action close up!
This phone came finally awailable here in Finland too, at the Nokia "home market".
But I must say that I'm deepli disappointed.
Phone is fine for calling and adequate for camera use, BUT certainly no use for web browsing DUE to it's terrible tiny display. Phone is just far too small for such an use. They say that we Finns are anxious to new technics BUT we are straight forward to and can say if something isn't what it should be.
It's not enough for equipment to be just nice and tiny, it must be usable too.
I really waited for this phone to be able to browse web via its wlan connection while sitting on a cafeteria BUT that just won't do with such a tiny display - and even with forthcoming new Nokia browser with it.
So Nokia, and other mobile manufacturers, please develope better batteries and bigger displays if phone is aimed for web browsing too!
bryantpark, I'm also from the Philippines, I just ordered mine from a dealer, got it for 30,500 or approx 575 US dollars. If you trade your N70, and add around 15,000 pesos more, I think that would add up to around 35k (assuming N70 is around 20k). Should be just about right, but obviously, you can find a cheaper price :)
