I am confused wasnt N80 suppose to retail at 620USD? why the price so high everywhere...

If you read carefully about what i have said about the N80, you might find it is all fact.
In other words, if you can live without Wi-Fi, then you may as well wait for the N73 or not bother upgrading at all since its not worth the money or the effort. (Which, at £600/$1000, under-par cam and WEDGE form-factor, it is'nt).
But then someone of your intellect would find it difficult to understand even the simplest of objective statements, regardless of their factual value.
Anyway, i'm not being pulled into another BORING, immature, long, drawn out and pontless slingin match with you. It's about as worthwhile as watching paint dry and even more f*cking boring.
Perhaps if only you were to find some friends, you might find there is more to life than wasting it, arguing like a 6-year old with a complete stranger on some geek-ass message board for mobile phones...
luv this [hone

Congrats on your N80.... Did you get it UK? if so where? -xx-
London
To see the N80, simply walk into your local Nokia shop. They will have a DUMMY phone that you can play with - its usually sitting on a presentation shelf on the wall. While the phone wont "switch on", it is basically the phone just without the electrical components inside of it, so it will give you and idea of size, materials, slider function, etc.
However, they might even have a working/real model in store, so just ask for a demonstration if they do have it in.
The phone has been "released" but is not widely available in the UK yet. Expect mass availability mid-May.
In terms of the SE, i would go into CPW/the Link/P4U, etc and simply say that you would like a DEMONSTRATION of the phone, but are NOT interested in buying it.
You say this cos remember phone salesmen are on commission and so will try and force-sell the phone to you/make you feel guilty if you leave the store without "buying".
If you say u want a demo, but are not interesteed in buyin, it gives a good excuse/terms to walk out of the store once you have finished playin around with it, without feeling d1cked over by the salesman.
Then go and look for a DECENT contract on-line cos most highstreet deals are sh!te.
hope this helps!
Im swayed towards to w810i because i find it nice on the eye but i don't know what its like as i havent played around with it and none of my friends have it. if i walk into a phone shop will they show me a demonstration for it? this will probably help me. i want to see the n80 for myself though aswell. when is it going to be available?
To London
That would DEFINATELY be the SE, esp if you are looking for a native 'music' phone. The only reason that would sway buying this dirty hunk of lard would be if you desperately needed Wi-Fi, a crappy 3MP camera and a very, very high quality screen. (not to mention a very big bank account)
The SE will give better music playback (namely cos its a Walkman phone), its FAR cheaper if not FREE on contract (unlike the N-CHUNK), it has been out for a while and so is LESS likely to have firmware problems (so more reliable) + it has better battery life, which, lets face it, is kinda important if you want to listen to music quite a bit.
Oh and on the talk of SIZE between the N80 and SE W810, erm... There's no point even commenting.
haha I love these camera battles on gsmarena. N80 as a smartphone faired very well against the camera-oriented K800. Ill wait for N93 though.
all i can say .. nexus is right
seriously tho, you should expect a phone with loads of specs to be huge...how would they pack it all in otherwise...i dont see why people make comments...if they want a smaller phone, dont have one with that many features really...myself id be willing to have a big phone to have all the features that the n80 has..
its the best after looking at the review i really liked the n80's pictures and ther isn't a big difference between the k800 only the autofocus which takes ages to shoot a pic with and the flash but besides the nokia it has much more options, together in a beutiful device(a bit thick i guess :) )
After looking at the camera review - i wonder why people were critsizing the quality ??!!
Def Buying An N80 Now, After Seeing That Camera Review. The only thing that i see the k800 is better on is the flash..otherwise i prefered the n80's cam quality...And Video Well We All Know Who Wins There >> Nokia Wooo!!
N80 runs on S60 3rd Edition so it will not support older themes.N80 only support newer themes(scalable themes)which probably not yet available anywhere. The only way to install themes is to use Theme Studio 3.0 and create your own themes.Further instruction is in the instruction sheet of the program.

how is the camera??is it ok...lack of autofocus does this make a big difference??
The screen is pretty much as big as the N70. Looks pretty good. Surfing the net, I found out that i wasn't the only one with the theme problem. If you guys have any other questions, just let me know.
yea me too..i've been to M1 and Singtel..both have n80 displayed as coming soon...
