All I can say is that I am sick and tired of waiting on the N80. In a minute I'm just gonna say "screw it" and go get a sony or an HTC because I'm tired of waiting. Nokia said 1stQ. It is 1stQ. Hell, the N80 got its FCC certs last year so what the hell is taking so long?
hi to all
I found the full manual of n80. Here is the link...
hi again to all
Europe/Asia (WCDMA 2100) version of the Nokia N80 has been FCC approved
check this link.
How about a comparison of N80 with Sony Ericsson K800i, Guess who is better ???
N80 is not yet released, I would like the music and camera to be of a good quality, ofcourse the regular phone features need to be perfect too. I would go for the one that's the best. All fancy features need a lot of battery power, let's see what both offer.
I've got it too!! But, what a disappointment. Battery life is very low. And the OS is far from stable. Sometimes it hangs, or is very slow...
The phone is more a gadget than a tool to really use.
Also photo's become blurry very quickly.
Wireless works fine, but battery life .. SO low
I rung up o2 there and the guy said the release of the n80 is completely dependent on the release of the n91. apparently its not going to be out until after this and with it being delayed for a couple of months, it doesnt look good
Does any one know if the nokia N80 has got Equalizer setting in its music player, if yes, how many bands?
@Leon who said it would cost £199 on top voda package which i can understand as voda rip u off but i work for o2 n we are doing it foc from the o2 250@£35.00p/m so you can get it foc
The phone is really superb. it has all the features like 3G,bluettooth,IR, FM and 3MP camera.the only problem with this phone is very less stand-by time.
1) No Auto focus
3) 165min talk time only
4) Vibration with sound missing?
5) Slider imperfect, nothing close to Nokia 8801, which is super
6) Picture messaging missing
7) No voice recognition
8) No voice memo
9) Stereo headphones lack display
10) Provided memory is 128MB, should have been 512MB at least
11) ... cant remember more, will write as i do
1) Too many, cannot write 'em all!
9/10 as of me, only competitor is SE W810i or SE W900
My budget is only $599 US dollars. Does anyone think its possible for me to even get this phone??
Funny enough - Von Brown (German rocket scientist) said the same when he saw his creation (Appolo V) for the first time ! But then again - is the only thing which can take man to the Moon and back :-)
Mr. Nokia, has Nokia already fixed Cingular problem of the high speed 850 mhz band that was originally left off? As a follow up, did you need to remove anything to add it?
For people planning to get this handset free on contract when they upgrade sadly rumours are that on the top Vodaphone package it will still cost 199 to get this handset!
Its gonna be more expensive than the current 8800, look at the n90 we can offer it for 50 when a customer signs up for t mobiles top package (Flext 75) and this one is gonna be more expensive.
Gone are the days of free mobile phones :(
Asked the vodafone adviser and has said the release date is set for 20 April, might be a few days sooner though.
Damn it...think i might have to wait one more month to upgrade..
