Nokia N80 3g and with WiFi, Bluetooth and IR and with a minicard of 2 GB will be a nice piece of technology that fullfill my requirements. Till now it is the one I buy as it is out here in Portugal. The camera is not important because if you want good pictures you must have a dedicated digital or analogic one.
I would like to know how much it will cost to my pocket...

Is this phone out yet in the UK or US I went on the Nokia website and it said that the phone is not out yet but several people are selling it on ebay. does anyone know if it is actually out yet?

alexx i saw some pictures taken with a n80 prototype and they weren't so good as you say.I hope the final version of the phone will take better pictures.

Have the N80 sound out as the N71? and have a cable to take of the music to can listen it in a Hi-fi system?

Can N80 use a longer battery as the N92 have?

will posibble with the N80 use the Adobe, excel, word?

Basse, Sharp has a better camera? Can you so kindly tell me WHY? Both of them is 3MP, so no difference there, Sharp has optical zoom. Yeah thats nice and all, but it doesnt make the camera better. You CANT take better pictures with sharp 903. Zoom doesnt have any effect on picture quality, neither will it allow you to take more interesting pictures. On top of that, 2x is like nothing. it wont help at all. It's basically the same thing as stretching out your arm a little. Theres no autofocus or macromode either. N80 has macromode meaning you can take closeups with it. Something you can't do with Sharp 903. So tell me again, what makes this camera better than sharp 903?

Hmm, Alexx, megapixel count seriously does NOT determine the quality of a camera, and OPITCAL zoom involves the moving of the lens to sorta magnify a thing (not sure about this though), while DIGITAL zoom is only CROPPING and ENLARGING, making the image quality poorer. I can easily do a 100X digital zoom with a computer, can an N80 do that? NO. I can do a 2X OPTICAL zoom with a 903, can a COMPUTER do that? NO. You see, digital zoom is simply crap. And with regard to the part where "2 times is NOTHING", please, u are at a cliff's end, u wanna enlarge the details, DIGITAL ZOOM does crap, and u dun wanna fall of the cliff, therefore, OPITCAL zoom comes into play, hope u understand that OPTICAL zoom in a phone is indeed a evolution and a great step towards proper digicams.

Karren, They both have the same resolution. Both are 3.0 MP, the sharp isn't 3.2 MP

Basse, Sorry, my mistake. You're right 903 has autofocus. But I heard that it's very slow and pictures often comes out blurry in if the pic is taken in motion. We'll have to wait and see if the N80 is better or not. But the prototype pics I've seen are very very good, and we know it will either look like that, or better. At least not worse.

Don't bother, because it would be much better to do that kind of stuff on a laptop or PC! It would be easier, and a much higher quality to do these things on a PC. And I'm sure if you were desperate for it you could get software enabling you to do that on the N80 anyway.

Karren Smith how can you compare an amazing fone like the N80 with a fone with no where near as good specs the E70??????

N80 has 3mp camera E70 2mp
N80 has a FM Radio, E70 has no radio
N80 has Wifi/WLAN and you can access wireless networks - E70 does not have this
N80 has UPnP technology allowing u to stream pictures to televisions and other devices, E70 doesn't have this
N80 quadband while E70 triband

The E70 is hardly a fone! it;s a frikkin PDA it has an entire keyboard!

Why are you talking about a fone which doesn't even compete with the N80, here?

nad for all of you who think that the best camera is the one with the most megapixels. Omg, are you kidding?
There is so much more to think about than just megapixels.

No one here knows what pictures taken with the N80 will look like. Everyone thinks that k750/w800 takes good pictures (and please, don't all crazy now and say that "oh, it only has 2 megapicels, it sucks big time") and the w900 is basically the same camera.

And for the record, no one knows exactly how the N80 will perfom when it is released. Maybe it will be much better than those pics I have seen taken with it. Who knows.

And yes, N80's macromode. It ranges from 17,5 to 23 cm or something, doesn't it? That's not much macro to me. I want to get closer than 17,5 cm.

But as I said in my other post, don't get me wrong, I love the n80 and will get it as soon as it is released.

Man,this is a Symbian OS Phone, that means a lot a features you can add to the phone!
Imagine you have a notebook pc that you canīt install any programs: you can just, put some musics, change de colors of the windows and bars, view some photos, and few more.. this is a non- symbian phone!!
i have the nokia 6630, a symbian, i installed on it a divx player,
a translator of 7 languages, whith more of 30.000 words of each language!,
a wave recorder with unlimited time,
powerpoint, word, excel, adobe reader,
flash player,
mobile fax,
sound cover!(it can put the ambience sound you want when yourīre calling,the sound of traffic, etc)
a program that have the map and all geography,people,government, economy, communications, transportation, military informations of all countrys in the world!
and i can also install all the programs you can find in this site:

Can sharp do this? :P of course not!

It's not me who commented that E70 is the best Upcoming "Business" Mobile Phone but Symplification.com. In my personal opinion E70 has more business features while N80 has more 'fun' features. When it boils to serious functionality, the E70 wins hands down.

Also for the record. The Sharp 903sh is the most advanced 'Non-Business' Mobile Phone Today. It has 3.2 megapixels, which is .2 megapixels more than N80. To think that the 903 was released early this year and the N80 next year speaks volumes.(note: at the time Sharp released its 3.2MP phone, Nokia's latest was only a 2MP phone-the N90)

That means Sharp is More Advanced than Nokia in terms of Camera Phones. What if Sharp releases a 5MP phone next year in time when Nokia releases its 3MP phones? That is the time it's logical to make some comparissons.

zesty: Oh my god, do you really care about those .2 extra megapixels?
And 2x optical vs 20x digital? Have you ever seen the differens between optical and digital? Optical zoom moves the objectiv just like a normal digital camera. Digital zoom just takes a smaller piece of the picture and makes it bigger(for example 2048x1536 pixels). But the result is worthless with digtal zoom.

So the zoom isn't "waaaay better" with the N80.
And the design isn't what we discussed.

But don't get me wrong, I love the N80 and I will get it as soon as it comes out in Sweden.
I love the 903's camera, but as you say, the design is kinda bad. No external display and it hasn't got Series 60.
Also it's kinda big too, but that is no big problem.

I want to see more pics taken with the N80, anyone got a link?
