oooops sorry ment to say upnp>> exsplaned UPnP is an industry standard that allows you to interact (auto-discovery of services and capabilities and remote control of those devices) with other devices over a network. It allows you to stream music stored on your phone over a wireless network connection to your home HiFi or display pictures of videos taken from your phone on your television (provided they support UPnP). You can do this either from the phone (from the inbuilt application, you simply choose which device you wish to play the media over) or from the playing device via on screen menus.

the n80 key feature is the upip but compare it to the other phones on the market ie w800i it still has a better mp3 sound, camera is better,and so on. so point is there are a zillion big fuctions on this phone somthing for everyone easy slid phone with a big punch.

I just pray that Cingular will also sell the all black version, and not just the silver one. I think the black one looks alot better.

CIF has a resolution of 352x288 and QVGA in W900 has a resolution of 320x240 meaning N80 has slightly better video recording.

What do you mean by CIF recording?
So is that type of video recording better than the sony ericsson w900?
Also this phone in the video recording it zooms 5x only right??

Of course N80 will be better than W900 when its released. N80 has lots of things W900 doesnt have including WIFI, UPNP, EDGE 3MP CAM with CIF video recording, S60 third edition, VISUAL RADIO and its lighter with better screen and more attratice imo. Only things better in w900 is the battry life and autofocus, N80 has a poor battery.

Only problem with this phone is that in the video only zooms 5x and 15fps in video only!! not 30fps like some other phones

OK here are some answers:
- Yes, it can play music videos
- This phone is way better than the Samsung D600
- 3G has one disadvantage and that is if u activate 3G, your battery won't last long, but 3G is faster than GSM
- This Phone is better than N71
- And lastly: phone is expected around february-march 2006

Not better than the N70?? It has WLAN, thats a big difference right there. Also, a much bigger/higher res screen makes a big difference too. I'd pay more than $100 for just that, and add in the better camera and smaller size that you mentioned and its no contest.
