i love this phone! i have the black edition. Its actually a hand-me-down from an uncle who has been using it for 2 years, and its still working great for the 5 months that i have been using it. however, when i send text messages it takes a whole 2-minutes to send! I have removed videos and pictures from the memory card and phone memory, still the problem isnt resolved. can anyone help me with this?

I think the battery is fine if you use one of the phone's standard themes. The slide is awsome :D...i like this phone.

Despite all comments about music- prefer this phone over Ipod as music switchesoff when call comes in and comes back after call ended.
Battery live is fine when you use it in 2G mode.
Disadvantage of this phoen as same as any other Slider- Flex cable brakes. Mine broke after 1.5 yers of use.
At the moemnt replacement part is cheap . Done replacement myself in 20 minutes (love nokia's Clip parts. no soldering required)
This one of the phones that will last long time (except Flex cable)

Good phone. But bad slide mechanism and one of the w0rst battery life.

if its your first phone with music you'll be okay however if you experience the music from phones dedicated to music such as walkman series than you wont want to listen to n80 again. In fact all sonyericsson handsets have better bass than the n80.
The n80 lacks good equalizers.
However because its a smartphone, all you need to get is lcg jukebox and you will be on par with every music oriented phone out there. In fact it should be better but that depends on the headphones, and oh yh ditch the original ones because they are only good for phone calls

I tried setting the clock according to direction but after putting clock on standby when i go to options the phone goes to messages and does'nt allow clock to be set. What is the fix for this

N80 is a great phone / but then the ribbon inside is easy to be worn out / and every other i oftenly change the ribbon /ty

The N80 is a great phone but, it does tend to collect dust under the front cover that seems to get in because it's a slide action phone.

I have installed opera mini 4.2 in my mobile but when I start this software it automatically ask me for wlan connection. But I am not living in the area of wlan network. Now how can I use GPRS in opera mini? Any body can give me the info?
