Uhm people,you are losing the plot, n81 is not a walkman phone - it's a nokia - it will be that, if you as an individual THINK w960 has better sound quality, then great-good 4 u! go ahead and buy it...but stop tormenting us wit your worthless woes of w960 being better,its only better at sound quality and thats it!-even iphone! do they have symbian 9.2 v3.1 os? a navi-wheel? gaming keys? n-gage grade graphics? millions of worthy applications? are they multimedia computers? HELL NO!!! all yall gata do iz go to tha sony w960 page and drool there! yall are jst bias pety critics!

Cause you cant take a entertainment system where ever you go. "ITS WHAT COMPUTERS HAVE BECOME" Means our phones (OS phones) like N81, do A LOT more than just Call and Text.

Not sure abt this fone, but I always found Nokias to have the best sound quality compared to any other brand. Though I do not get it, if Nokia can make such gud sound quality phones why is such a diffifuclt task for others?

Nokia are a powerful company.It seems like reviewers always give them the benefit of the doubt and are very wary to criticize.N95 works well if you have v20 fw but reviewers gave the n95 great reviews wit v10 fw!!Back then it was horid .N81 isn\'t as good on audio as n91,w960 or iphone PERIOD.It\'s not super fast either,build quality is average,very ordinary camera g.Expensive phone bought by EEJITS.

N81-1 is the 8GB, N81-3 is the one with a 2GB (I have it). N81-2 maybe for the USA.

Dis is a great phone. got it 2 days ago. the music is loud and good. quality of pictures taken by camera sucks a little bit, but it's a phone, so don't really care about it.

yeah vids can only look so good on a qvga screen.Two radio1 dj's tested n81,iphone and w960's audio with the human ear only.On audio they voted 1-iphone 2-w960 3-n81.Was on channel 5 gadget show a few weeks back

I'll tell ya somethin. W960i doesn't need a faster CPU to play the videos like the PSP or iphone. I got the W960i and put the full movie Transformers with these settings:

AND IT PLAYS AMAZING

This phone is GREAT! For videos, watched a couple of high quality PC .rm South Park episodes on it and it handled it them perfectly, no stuttering, audio and visual we're in sync, and it ran so smoothly :-) any videos a N95 can handle this can handle just as well with its 369mhz CPU great 2.4" screen.

Nokia say N81 is a pure Music/Gaming phone.I had the N81 for 3 Days & I'll tell you straight,the N81 sucks big time. Audio quality is poor via headsets and it doesn't stand a chance against N91 though I must say games do look good on n81.I think Nokia should take off music from their slogan and keep gaming on!I would have expected Nokia to make a better music phone as we move into the future but instead their music build quality just keeps going down the drain. If nokia say it is EU Restriction on volume how come Sony Ericssonphones dont have EU Restriction on volume?Nokia dont want to make a phone that does everything an All in One so therefore they limit things on ther handset!BTW the executive director for nokia was interviewd by the press & they asked if the nokia n81 will have same audio quality as n91 and he said yes but were is the quality gone?What a lie. Nokia Executive Director/Nokia need to apologise to their customers and compensate those who bought a phone that cannot perform the job as well as N91 in music! Finally the N81/N95 8GB are only going to get 2 - 4 firmware updates & that's,It's going to become dead just like the N93 firmware.Expensive models without any updates!This is marketing hype by Nokia,and all their doing is misleading customers.

I'm thnking of getting one.Can n81 handle vids without having to optimize them for phone playback.What's the camera like in normal conditions?is the build quality better than n95?I worry about nokia n built quality but hope this one is ok

Hmm my n81 has switched itself off 4times n ive only had it 2days.It's quite fast but isn't lightening specially once its loaded.overall not a bad phone though 8/10

Please give me a link to where it says W960 is better?
W960 needs a better CPU for better video and UI peformance!! It cant realy handle all iPod/PSP 30FPS converted videos like the N81 does.
