this is the first Nokia phone that has a design chalenges SonyEricsson phones ,and the navigation wheel is similar to that of ipod I think..

Why have Nokia put the *Nokia* Logo
were SE Put there Cyber-Shot and Walkman Logo ???

hey Djoser: in videos in youtube there is one of 2 ladies playing whit they n81 and you can see how the silder is weak. and remember all the nokia sliders, this one use the same cain of C...r..a..p slider nokia have the best MULTIMEDIA phones, but just open your eyes and see that the cuality is not the strong point of the company, do you want me to make you a list? just let me now

it does not matter what the phone is equipped with, 2mp or 3mp or 10mp camera, what matters is when taking the photographs, is the quality going to be as what is expected! it can be 3mp bad quality photo or 2mp good quality photo. anyway for photography, a digital camera should be considered, not a phone camera!
Why people complain about the sliding mechanism!! have they already used it? don't compare it with older phone until it is released and used.

this phone have the same problem that all nokia sliders have: BAD SLIDER
the most cheap samsung phone slider beats all the nokia sliders
for the record: i hate samsung's phones and all my phones are nokia

hmmmm nokia n80 a bag of rubish....but at least it was 3mpixel........n81....2 megapixel....me thinks nokia are going backwards somewhat..still it remains to be seen performance wise.......n95 8gig......now thats progress !!!!!!!!!

If this phone is actually realeased with a 2mp camera, in my opinion it wont sell.... People are starting to want EVERYTHING in one device and this is a nice unit but, I feel this low spec will hinder sales....

Hope Nokias impoved it slide phones an is spring loaded because they make nice looking sliders but they get worn down easily an become lose an why couldn"t they put a 3 megapixel camera on it,but the 6500 slider is out soon but i will wait until a full review is available before decide which one to get as the 6500 slider is my but lets wait an see

I've actually got this phone, wicked...feels good on your hands...good weight loads of features...only ba thing about it...is that the phone stalls when u close the phone...but hey maybe its only becuase i got the first edition of the phone - see'n as i work for the development team for Nokia, but yeah, its a wicked phone, everyone is eager to get one..must have for christmas!!

though it doesnt have autofocus...it still has the fact that it can record videos at VGA resolution...so for videophiles like me this is a wonderful treat ehhehehe

I must expect that the RAM should be at least have same amount with N76(96MB) or even E90(128) for better productivity especially in gaming. actually if this phone has no OS it will be enough for it to have 32 or 64Mb just like the PSP, but since this has OS and the OS itself requires more RAM for running applications/Games the need for a higher amount of RAM is necessary.

Nokia is definitely the best..but sony ericsson is right up there with them...The new design of this handset is really appealing(being an owner of the N80ie)The fact that its alot less bulky and has such a simple design has made this my new pursuit
