This is way better than a lil SE W960!! The lil W960 only got a poor 208mhz CPU and thats it, N81 got a 369mhz CPU plus a Sound DSP chip,also LOADS more applications, LOUD 3D loudspeakers, a great Navi-wheel in Gallery and in Music Player its like using an iPod! As a music and gaming phone its the best,and WAY better than a W960 as a Music phone, Internet Browser and faster UI.

i bought dis fon frm hongkong. Its gr8, da games r 2 good, camera shoulld hav been 3 mpix,internet browser is awesome, but da key pads suck..over all 92/100

This phone is meant to excel in audio but in this department im afraid the n81 trails WAY behind S.E.w960 and I-phone.Screen is terrible when sunshine is shining!keypad awkward.The whole unit just feels cheap.Don't waste your money on this stopgap production.

Finaly got it today!! I love it,its a great upgrade to my N80! Mine is Silver/Dark Grey, its the one on the above pic!

emkar -> it does come with th data cable
rob -> to use the data cable correctly, you need to made sure than no application are using the memory card.
close any applications installed on card.
make sure you change the 'memory in use' under messages to phone memory... you should be good to go.
system is very fast, much faster than other series phones, it has a processor
ssaloon -> no gps... does have the maps, but you'll have to buy the external model

had it for 3 days never had anything like it. was a bit ticked off coz i thout there was no 'pencil key', until i discovered it was the # key.
am i the only one who has this problem?
maybe i should start reding manuals first.... anyway i'm all good. Phone rocks, graphic are excellent, not going back to my n70 ever.....
on thing, anyone know where to find a 3rd edition download manager? please mail me

Just hav some quieris.. i'm frm M'sia n just bought 1 n81 ap set.. just want to knw is that the package for N81 including the data cable? cos i dint get it inside my box..is that is a musy have inside the N81 Package?

I just bought N81 in Singapore last week, but why my N81 cannot receive picture from SE via bluetooth? Any ideas? Is it my hp got problem or all N81 cannot receive pic from handphone SE??Thanks.

Quality phone
Just bought it but do any of you know how to work 'mass memory'? Im trying to put images from my phone onto my computer but whenever I plug the phone in and select 'Data transfer' it just says 'Unable to activate data transfer mode. Mass memory is in use on another application.' Any tips? Apart from that its a qaulity phone

this phone is not as good as they said,i think the system is too slow.same as the rest of the n series.plus,always this phone sometimes stuff up.

cobalt blue is more atractive, suites young users and stuff.....tho....d camera is not realli gud of a quality....

Yeh it actually can read memory cards that are higher than 2 gb.
Unfortunately it can only read cards up 4 gb

Fantastic phone, was going for a N95 but to be honest I wouldn't use GPS or the camera as much as I would play games or music, so this one is for me. I would love to know when N-Gage is coming out though, heard it was supposed to be sometime this week- are there any Nokia staff out there who have inside info? I gotta have N-Gage!

I charged mine overnight (about 8 hours) and when I woke up it said that the battery was full. So I'd say 8 hours of charging is sufficient.
