the nokia n81 is a beautiful machine until tha paint starts chipping off, my phone has blisters dat have led 2 tha fallin off of my central select button. as for downloadable themes, they highly affect tha internal phone memory and unfortunately some cannot be removed as they arent recognised by the application manager. there are applications that are downloadable when they feel like. i had several attempts 2 download the new opera mini 5 sucesfuly since it kept getin disconected durin tha download even though u have the right certificates. even though it has a few gliches here n there its stil served me well for 6 months n i believe its da longest iv ever stayed with a cellphone. kudos nokia on making a phone dat has some of da best stereo speakers around. there are tymz wen u jst prefer 2 play music without the use of ur earphones.

I have this phone since Jan 2008 and i've so far not faced any serious problems, neither with the hardware nor with the OS.. the OS has been stable so far.. only thing that has happened is that my entire D-pad started to wear off after like a year and now its completely come off.. no probs, i got a new one fixed and now my phone is as good as new...
over all... its a very stable and sturdy device with a brilliant display and sound, and in terms of pure ergonomics, 3rd best N-gage device, after to the two previous hardcore N-gage phones..

instead of shouting at dis site people shld knw to care their cell phones.. All phones are good n N81 is best phone i hve ever used.internal problem occours bt nt wid every phone.i m using dis cell frm last 1 n half year still i never saw nokia care showroom yet! All the lover enjoy wid ur cell!

All, please note that i have faced a repeatable problem with this phone. Three times that when i press on a button, it just functions as another button.
I have also seen 3 of my friends having the same problem, however, this might be only occuring in Egypt so please check ...
And uptill now I did not receive a replacement (more than one month).
I would suggest, that if you have seen this problem with anyone else, AT ONCE dont go for it

hi my advice is dont go for this mobile,
i had a problem in the slide and now it says camera not supported and it seems its an hardware problem , have to spend 3500 bucks

i am facing problem relating SMS. SMS failed to be send and it shows error : "MEMORY FULL. PLEASE CLOSE SOME APPLICATION AND TRY AGAIN." i have to format my set to resolve this problem but even after some days again this error occurs.

My mobile was purchased from malasia. Now I am in India.the problem related with the keypad, when I shown the mobile to the nokia service sender(India) Coustomer care were rejected and they are told me mobile is purchased from out-off country you shold submit their only. Please suggest

Hi, this is koushik frm Kolkata i hv been using this N81 for lst 10 months ... i am a true fan of NOKIA specially nseries i have used lots of Nseries frm N70, N72,N73,N71,N90 and N 95 n currenty i am using N81 and has faced problem 2 times wth in 10 months ... and i have to deposit th phone 2 times to nokia care ... 1 time they crgd me 1,800 rs aftr paying 15,000 .... it is the wrst N SERIES phone i have ever used ...
