to Nokia FAN: hey first i hate iphone too, the problem is only whit the iphone, the itouch is ok. and this is going to be the best music phone in terms of cuality,and other stuff, like great speakers, but still going to buy n95 8gb not for music, but for photos, videos, and stuff

This phone is the best. Compare this to the
iphone. This is much better in terms of quality. I heard that there was something wrong with the earphones of the iPhone and iPhone touch. You an NEVER count on Apples. Iphone has no 3G either and insufficient connectivity options. So,someone please tell me, why does it get a better score?!
Wake0up people-this phone hasn't even come out yet. Wait till it does!

Right now, the reference point in comparing the sound of new music phones is the N91. Newly released phones are often compared to N91's audio quality. Why? Because N91 has the best audio quality out there. And we're expecting if another music phone has arrived to surpass N91's audio quality.

i have been using n91 and w950 for a long time and now i am just using k800 .
but the quality of n91 was dar better than w950 and i change to k800 because k800 look cool and its not heavy as n91
i am not kind person that be fan of one brand but any good phone release i like it speacially nokia and sony ericsson but i think n81 is the phone that i have been waiting for all the time
but i really wana listen to w960 quality as well because it using Walkman 3 the new which should be better than previous one

I think this phone is catered for people willing to save $200-300 by losing the 5MP cam & GPS . I would give it more of chance with a 3.2MP similar to the N73. At least it has a 3.5mm headphone jack that isn't found on either the SE W960 or 6500 Slide. And the slider mechanism looks smoother than the N95. The cam seems to be the main dealbreaker for many.

hey messi:
1. if u feel the sound quality of N91 is the bomb believe me. u need to have your ears checked an E.N.T. Doctor.
2. when it comes to gaming as dump as N91 is it cannot even play (worms, robot alliance, motor raver and many more like that) which common w800i can play so my dear messi.
do not b feeling cool about N81 it must b a dumb phone.

messi. u should try a walkman series phone and believe me u would throw ur n91 music phone into the dustbin.
sony ericsson sounds 100 times better than any nokia mobile music phone ok.
from experience not from reading.

2MP is weak, but if it can provide a decent gaming experience, it shouldn't be dismissed that quickly. Other than the cam, the rest of its spec sheet is rock solid. Better than the 6500 Slide in some cases (8GB, Wifi).

I think this phone deserves a second look, and it's value is much closer to the overmarketed & overhyped iPhone. 2MP w/ flash, 8GB, 802.11 "b" & "g", vid cam, radio, and form factor really is nice with closer inspection. It just seems the 2MP was turnoff after seeing the N95. Its specs really falls between an iPhone and a SE W960. Nokia is stepping up their game with their slider designs. I would get this if it fell between $300-$400 USD. It's an the upper midrange level in my book.

hi,
i work for vodafone uk and i cant wait this we get this baby, i want 1 so much there has beens so many problems wiht the SE walkman phones and now nokia bring 1 out that is gonna kick ass cant wait till it is out overe here.

in term of audio and games and size also the quality of display Nokia n81 will kick the w960 for sure .
because n81 had a same audio quality as n91 which is best between the all phones and got 3.5 mm audio output jack which sonyericsson w960 doesn't also Nokia's display is the best as well and in terms of look come on guys be fare n81 look awesome
the only thing i like about w960 the screen is bigger and 3.2 Mpixle camera ( which i dont care i have my own camera )
overall the winner for sure is nokia n81

Dammn Nokia Why only 2mp? The people needs more megapixels-marketing strategy-The more megapixels you have, the more you sell phones in any configuration set. You have done a great job whith 5610 but in n81 lacks the main reason to buy phones: Take snapshots.
