another prob, the sdram supposed 2 b 96mb, but x-plore shows that it is 88mb and the free is 30-45mb
where is those 50mb used in?

Was just using an iPod Nano 8GB, then my PSP and now my N81 all to listen to music while waiting at the airport to board a flight, been sitting here for roughly 2hours comparing these and trying to find which il use in my flight shortly as a Music player. The N81 won, its sound really packs a punch. Its sound quality is rich, bassy, gives great treble and AMAZINGLY crisp instruments and voice. Reminds of why its said to be one of the best Music devices out. Battery still 100% ,guess i realy dont need an iPod Nano, im giving it back to my mate.

I really like this phone so much. It's my top pick among all my choices. The phones that I'm choosing to buy are N81 8GB, N82, N78 and N95. Is it true that N81 8GB has already been discontinued and no longer available in the market? I'm interested to buy this phone. I prefer the N81 8GB because I don't want to buy an extra memory card. Please clarify if this phone is still available and how much does it cost. Thank you.

Poor Camera quality! and need to improve the sound quality! If does not better than iPod, just make the same iPod audio quality.

Its a TOSHIBA DAC33 Sound Chip, im pretty sure it can handle your headphones.

Come on guys i need more info about this DSP DAC sound chip.........will it be able 2 handle my Sennheiser's HD 555....with impedance of 120 Oms.........?

Ye the N85 is the N81 successor. Id love to get the N85! I cant wait to play on one.
I KNEW IT! The NOKIA N78 was a mistake! Look with in 5months the N78 already has a successor! LMAO! Thats a record time replacement by any manufacturer, nice one NOKIA, id rather get a N79, im SOO happy i left the N78, it didnt look great to begin with. :-) my next Nseries gota be the N85. :-)

NOKIA N81 is my strter to the N-series n so far so gr8t!!!! ... 2mp might be its weakness bt its a strter n this baby is a keeper so tht small flaw is insignificant ... hello IT'S NOKIA >>connecting ppl

this is my dream music phone. where do you think i can find this set? but i think the headphones alone cost more than an n81 or an n82.

Problems with this phone(i know because i had one and now my second, which i regret.) navi wheel is bad and doesnt always work well especially in changing temperatures or being on for too long.
The gaming buttons have the tendency to crack
The slider goes loose and also scratches the cheap plastic film on the keypad.
The cheap black plastic creeks a lot when texting etc and scratches fast ( i got my second one already scratched before i even used it)
The buttons go stiff or over sensitive
Camera is pathetic and video recording max is 320x240, the 640x480 stated on the nokia site is a lie.
There is light leakage everywhere around the buttons and edges of the slider and usb port especially in the gallery where all the lighting is on for media keys etc.
Buttons can be peeled off when you stick your nail down through the edge.

I could go on....
