Get the N81, better audio quality IN HEADPHONES AND LOUDSPEAKER , WiFi, 16million colour screen, Dedicated Music buttons, touchsensetive navi-wheel, SYMBIAN S60 v3.1 OS9.2 Operating System so you can increase functionality, its definetly the better choice.

"N73 or N81" get n81 or n81 8gb its better than n73 in music. but camera wise n73 is better.

Although i disagree with the Walkman part, i found the W960 "Walkman Flagship" not to have great sound but is loud.

HELP!!!

if you are to choose between n73 and n81.. what will you choose?

im planning to buy a new phone.. and its reall hard to choose between the 2.. Both have its advantages and disadvantages...PLS HELP ME DECIDE...

Agree wid u. But however people dont know that P1i/K850i are two different phones were P1i is Symbian Phone n K850i is Cybershot Phone but one thing they have that people dont knw is Walkman Features eg MegaBASS so u got a Cybershot + Walkman phone.

These Latest walkman phones are let down by the camera wid da lack of auto focus or flash or maybe both n some are limited to 2Mega Pixel camera.

Yep N81 n n91 have same audio Chip (DAC) but n81 is EU Volume Restricted were this disables the loudness compared to N91 n the Heavy BASS effect.

Hint Peoplez:
If you want a Music Phone get N91 4GB/N91 8GB but if you dont like em due to there specs/size get N81 its 2nd best Nokia Audio device.

But however do try out the Sony Ericsson walkman phones they are loud in sound quality n do NOT have EU Volume Restriction !

u first go on Tools,settings,general,then clik on personalisation.
go down until Tones
and then go on vibrating alert
and change it

U can put on vibration by just a click on the switch on button and then select option called silent,,, thats it.

I read somewhere that this phone has the same audio DSP DAC as N91 but the difference is that the N81 has UE OR EU reduction or something??? Could someone please explain all this to me? Thanx.

As I previously stated, this Nokia music & games phone is second-to-none. It is better than N91 in some other sound aspects, such as the stereo speakers. It's a mini-boombox like Nokia 6233! But 6233 has the LOUDEST speakers EVER!

I'm lucky to have all these 3 BEST music phones:
N91, N81, and 6233!!!

I really agreed n81 sounded well than any other N series phones except N91 8GB.In terms of sound clarity,loudness,stereo crosstalk level,and more important sonic experience N91 8GB is far ahead,and reproduced a lot of power and high quality audio with a better pair of headset like bose.Here i am only concern about the better sound quality.

Try the latest firmware version:
v3.10.023 for N91 8GB
v2.20.008 for N91 4GB

Yep so far i450 is da best in sound quality beating the n91 now.but samsung symbian OS suk on der phone, users will have to wait for samsung firmware update.

agreed mate.... samsung phones always break after a year... wish se and nokia, would make a decent, new music phone... but im keen for this phone... or n82.. whats the keypad like??

a very hard and sofisticated telephone.wery hard to use to many gagets.the internal memory is to big and the telephone is thinking hard if you have no memory left.

N91 has the same fidelity of n81,i saw many tests:dynamic range,freqency range,etc are exceptional at n91 too. But,more,n91 has more power,the best power of all,if you want to groove,if you want to blow your headphones,if you want to cover street noise. N91 is still unbeatable at sound. In rest is a brick,but i like it
