A lot of SE phones have the same style... and you can't even install good applications like what Nokia phones have. Buy a new SE phone and it will be depreciated in a few months because another "copy-look" of that will be released. SE phones are good in terms of sound, and some camera functions... but it still can't beat Nokia phones.

Siva have you been drinking?? The N82 and SE K850 are not in the same category. It is like comparing an Aston Martin to a Ford Fiesta!! It is not just a question of the lack of GPS and WiFI on the K850. What about the lack of 3.5mm jack, smaller screen, slower processor, absence of an OS, fewer 3rd party applications, third rate camcording, inability to play a plethora of flash videos on the web. Nick mentioned most of these points earlier.
The N82 is a sophisticated multimedia device. The k850 is basically simply a cameraphone.

I feel tat K850 is a better choice in case you are not looking at Wifi n GPS.
Cos its bettr in terms of sound quality, display clarity, equal in terms of camera clarity wid N82. Surely a better phone for people who r hardly gonna use Wifi n GPS. But for the class of people who r gonna use these Wifi n GPS N82 black is damn 2 gud. Also sony s gonna come up wid C series (C902), photographers can wait 4 tis...

I've been waiting for this! The Nokia N82 in black now officially released as of March 18 in Finland.

This is good news, black at last,,
Ive been considering samsung g810,,motoz10 s/e g900 but now this is in black im tempted more towards this..
I have n95 8gb but the screen is far to big for qvga resolution and have never liked the look of it since i bought it ????
The only initial concerns is the screen brightness "which i can find out at weekend" and if used fairly heavily will get me thru day..
I loved n73 but it was slow but never crashed and it was limited to 2gb card and cif 15fps video recording,,if its out in carfone will buy it their and then but doubt it will be in carfone till mid april,,if at all...
As with respect to buttons i loved the s/e w610i buttons as its dead easy to find the slit whereas a button almost joins the adjacent key..

Yippeee !!! I waited and held on for a black version,,hope its not 8gb version because i use card reader and having 8gb built in is hard work and 16gb cards are on the way

Had phone for a month and half and now the buttons 8, 0 and cancel doesnt work kmt!

dont even think about buying the k850.
1)the camera is poor!
2)the video quality is a joke
3)this phone has wifi, that will save you £££'s!
4)this phone has a GPS receiver
5)this phone uses a normal 3.5mm headphone jack which is really convenient!!
6)this phone runs on symbian which is fabulous. you can download so many applications for it.
7)bigger screen
8)flash lite is coming onto the n82. (that means you can watch flash videos on the internet)
the k850 is nothing special, it doesnt do anything a phone 4 years ago couldnt do.

im really getting a hard decision on what handset to buy.. been comparing n82 to sek850i for the past few days via web.
both have strong points and weak ones..
but of course reading specs and seeing photos are very much diff if you felt it in your hands. if only i could try each phone for a day or so and from there i would decide which one to buy and what to throw away. lolz.
can you help me with these?
has anyone of you have used these handsets?
what are the best and worst things about n82 and sek850i based on your experience and usage?
