This phone is great! I know some of you still love the N95 but i just hate its sliding mechanism because it easily gets LOSE. The N82 is a fast phone, has good camera flash, easy to install applications, has 2GB memory card.

Excellent camera (I actually traded up from a 2 month old SE T650 to the N82 just because of the camera)....BUT my biggest issue is with the keyboard. The tiny numbers and letters combined with the super-reflective chromed keyboard surround makes it just about impossible to use in daylight. Who ever at Nokia specified these digits and material has never used a mobile for texting in his (or her) life. Bad..Bad..BAD.

Its true that the N82 is a fingerprint magnet. The best way to get rid of fingerprints and keep your cell phone looking new is rubbing alclohol and a cotton ball. Trust me, It works

N82 a great phone and I owen one. But it bother me to see Nokia number oen leader in phone try to copy Sony keyboard style. This was one big reason I never tried to Buy Sony Phone and now Nokia copy it. Also why Nokia did nit include 3G 850 on this phone combine with 2100? it would of been nice to make it little mroe slime than it is now too. I also Owen Nokia E51 which is a great phone only with missing flash. I think these different group in Nokia Desgin center are not talking to each others.

i've been using this phone as a replacement from my trashy n73, and it's been great. even though some programs are lacking, and the front part is a fingerprint nightmare, every other thing has been working out great for me. the speakers are weak considering my previous phone (n73), but i don't really mind because the earphones are far better, even better than apple iphone's earphones, i might add. the screen is flawless, but seeing the size of the screen in n95 8gb kinda makes me jealous. but the xenon flash is something nokia n95 8gb users can't get a taste of, and that is really something to be proud about. the photo quality is pretty nice, though i think it's too compressed to make room for memory. the speed's fine, and the flash works out fine. no accidental sliding of the camera lens cover, and thankfully the d-pad is very easy to use. typing is not a problem either, once you get used to it (it'll only takes you a day or two, i promise), the higher elevation of the numeric keys makes it easier to type with this device than with nokia n73's numeric keypad and joystick which is poorly thought of. battery life is poor compared to sony ericsson's, but acceptable. the usb cable seems to be a problem for me, since it's one of a kind, meaning you have to bring one of your own everywhere to connect your phone to the pc. worse, the gps application is kinda confusing. the auto-rotate function is pretty cool. but in conclusion, this is an astounding multimedia phone, also a great and stylish phone. mine's titanium (silver version), which i think is better than the black one cause it seems like plastic. is it really plastic?

@relton
I have both the G800 and the N82.
As much as i enjoy the G800's design, optical zoom, feel, convenience, and comfort of the keypad, i would definitely choose the N82.
For starters, i appreciate the Wi-Fi capabilities of the N82, up here in Canada, i could not connect to my company's 3G connectivity, so WLAN became the only way i could connect to the internet. I enjoy how the N82 pictures take up less room then the G800's. An average N82 picture is about 750kbs, whereas the G800's pictures are about 2.2mbs. Although the memory difference, N82's pictures are still better in many aspects. The video recording capabilities and the flash of the N82 are better then the G800's BY FAR, G800 doesn't even come close. To top it off, the N82 has a symbian device, a smartphone, lol that speaks for itself.

What's worse, output volume via headphones is also poor... everything below 80% volume is almost totally quiet

What's the problem Nokia?

Why the camera has been vastly improved and the music has NOT ?
